TWW Symptoms?! First time trying

Hi everyone, first time trying so thought I would also see if there are any first timers on here! My boyfriend and I have just started trying, I worked out my fertile days and they were apparently 17-22nd of May, I struggled working out my days so I have just downloaded an app. To put it plainly we’ve DTD everyday this week! So feeling very tired anyway, but I am having such strange symptoms, obviously trying not to think too much into this all but would be good to get a chat going if it is also your TWW! As this is my first wait and already it’s making me impatient!! The past couple of days I have felt a bit of nausea but I have extreme bloating and I mean from when I get up in the morning to when I go to sleep at night! Nothing soothes it. And I am TIRED, I don’t mean ‘I could just have a little nap’ tired, I mean falling asleep absolutely everywhere uncontrollably tired haha my app says I am due to test on the 3rd June. I have already taken a test and it was negative which from my research it would be as even if I am pregnant I wouldn’t have had enough hcg levels to detect anything!

So yeah it would be great to get a chat going maybe for newbies or people also in the TWW!

Ah thanks @NJ2910. To be honest I don't really know how many DPO I am, as I don't know how much my MC messed up my cycle. All I know is that I started feeling sick on the 18th May, so it must have been the day or two before that, at least. And that if my cycle was back to normal I would be due mid next week. What about you?

Just had another BFN test, and had a stern talk with myself to not test before my period is due or scan the Mumsnet forums obsessively! I only have normal PG tests, and not early ones, so it's only accurate from missed period anyway.

It's nearly 5am where I am, and had to grab some cereal as couldn't sleep for hunger after waking up to pee! Honestly, if I'm not pregnant, I have no idea what my body is doing!

Any updates from anyone else?

I'm 11 DPO and period due this weekend, however I've had light spotting today and swore breasts on the edges. I'm thinking of doing an early test tomorrow, but trying not to got my hopes up as only been TTC for the first time thing month. I wonder if most of its in my head or that my time of month due coming early!

Ahh wish I’d seen this thread when it started! I think our fertile days were basically the same @Freddie15VES and it’s also our first month TTC! It’s also my OH’s birthday within a day of your OH!
Im due my period tomorrow but told myself I wouldn’t test unless it hadn’t shown by Wednesday!

My AF is due Fri/Sat but I've been getting spotting Mon-Wed which has now stopped. Trying not to get excited by think its implantation bleeding. I've not got a regular cycle yet so could be anything, had extreme bloating tho recently which inst normal.

@dizzypixie I'm 10dpo and don't really feel any different! AF not due until 11th though. Had the odd bit of nausea the last couple of evenings and also the urge to go to the loo late evenings but being constipated... Not really sure if that's a thing but I'm usually a regular morning person!!

@SarahTTC2020 yes I was really constipated too (sorry tmi!) and it is a ‘thing’ apparently, and also not normal at all for me. I’m convinced that I conceived last month, as felt exactly the same as the weeks before my MC, but I guess it didn’t stick this time. Think my body needs another month to recover as it was the first cycle after MC.

@dizzypixie bodies are strange and wonderful things! So often they'll realise something isn't right between the sperm/egg and that it wouldn't be viable.

@Hilly20 update from me is I took a digital test yesterday and shockingly got a BFP 🎉 It’s been a rollercoaster 24 hours! sending lots of luck to you xx
