Woke this morning feeling pregnant, popped out to get test to put the idea out of my head and I swear I can see a faint line. Partner not so convinced!

It's definitely there. Congratulations!

NoCallerID · 23/05/2020 11:13

@Rainarch definitely a line there!

MummyGoingItAlone · 23/05/2020 11:14

I see that clear as mud! Congrats!

Elephantonascooter · 23/05/2020 11:19

Definitely

Mousecheese · 23/05/2020 11:44

I never comment on these threads as I don't want to get people's hopes up but that is plain as day. Congrats.

Thank you for the responses on Saturday- I tested again today and there is no line at all. Very confused about how I feel, I spent two days mentally planning how a 3rd would fit into our chaotic lives!

I am in a similar position Rain. 3 days late and got 2 squinters yesterday. Going to test again later. A 3rd is something I have wanted for ages. DH less keen. Our first 2 each took almost a year to conceive. If I am pregnant this is from a one off, slightly tipsy encounter Blush

Although it is something I thought I wanted
I am now absolutely terrified it may be a reality

Elestren · 25/05/2020 10:40

How many days late are you?

Rainarch · 25/05/2020 10:47

Possibly 2 days late- I haven't tracked anything as we weren't actively trying for no.3. Had pregnancy symptoms, very sore breasts, was very emotional and 2 days of spotting last week. Had a little more spotting yesterday evening and all symptoms have now disappeared. I just think it's all over. Slightly sad as we were just getting used to the idea but we wouldn't try again. How about you?

I use the Flo app to keep track of when my period is due. Saying that, my cycle has been all over the place since I had my daughter. I am now on CD30 and I have averaged 26 day cycles in recent months. Has been as much as 32 days last year though.

Sorry that you are feeling sad Flowers I guess its not over until AF shows, but you know your body best.

For us, given how terrified i am and my husband's far away look tells me that if this is negative, there will be no further talk of baby 3 and my husband will be off for the snip once he can!

Going to test again in a bit

Rainarch · 25/05/2020 11:29

What will be will be I suppose, good luck with your test, I hope you get the result you want x

Thank you Rain

Still a bit unclear. Clearblue digital said not pregnant, Clearblue cross test negative but tesco test showing an extremely faint line.

Think i will have to wait until the morning and use FMU just to be absolutely sure.

I am hoping this is just a scare and in which case it has shown me that I don't really want any more and I can stop daydreaming about a third and just enjoy the kids I have.

Elestren · 25/05/2020 17:46

This is clearer

Elestren · 25/05/2020 17:47

Sorry, pic didn't attach

Rainarch · 25/05/2020 22:54

I can't see any picture attachment Elestren.

My period arrived this evening. It's a weird feeling of disappointment/relief/sadness, we were totally frightened by the prospect of another baby but had got excited that the decision had been made without planning- we both always wanted three.

In reality, due to our age, current climate, jobs and existing children, it really would not have been for the best. As you said, we will now focus on the two we have and enjoy them x
