Ha love the fact about ovulating strippers! @unluckyducky 😂 everything is meant to be wonderful around ovulation right. U can even smell different to your other half!

@unluckyducky that would explain a lot of my exs 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 23/05/2020 16:34

Oh wow! That's an amazing fact! @unluckyducky I've been off the pill 9 months now and still love my husband so phew lol!

SmileyT · 23/05/2020 16:43

@notyetamumbuttrying yes I agree about worrying about the side effects but yeah I take them at the same time. I got pregnant without any of these and I was drinking and smoking (don't judge me we weren't trying and was on holiday) but as soon as I had the MC I had this need to do more but I think @Minster2012 and @Skip86 are right it's not all necessary at all 🙈 Gin and grapefruit juice for me today 🥂

@unluckyducky omg that's so interesting I was only on the pill at uni and dated a guy for about 4years and we were so incompatible... I was really anti testing early but the pessimist in me wants to know if there is any chance I've had a CP, because as awful as it is it would be nice to know the sperm is meeting an egg, if that makes any sense xx

Just got out the shower, actually brushed my hair and put on a short dress with no underwear called DP upstairs and shagged on the stairs... not even in fertile week, hope I'm not wearing him out too early - you girls are setting me off 🙈😂🙈

@notyetamumbuttrying @unluckyducky oooo this is very interesting!! what book are we talking about ?? i can totally understand why ovulating strippers would earn more! i myself feel like a stripper around that stage 😉😂😂

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 16:47

@SmileyT i got pregnant with my DS when i was on the pill with someone who i would never go for! makes sense 😂😂🙈

stairs are an ideal place😏 j can't wait to dress up later 😂 even washed and straightened my hair this morning, OH prefers it curly but that is too much work 😂

Cocoblue22 · 23/05/2020 16:49

@lucyrp yeah the quick ones are better as they are over faster! However just work towards building up on the longer ones start for 3/4 second holds. Don’t do more than these three times a day tho or you can over do it! I need to crack on and get mine done! Maybe while DH is bathing DC x

@Cocoblue22 i've got them set at 5 seconds at the moment. i did 10 seconds this morning but was too long to start with although manageable so put them down to 5 seconds. x

@unluckyducky ooo i shall have a look!

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:00

@unluckyducky @SmileyT i thought i was pregnant for 3 weeks before my bleed ☹️

@unluckyducky it was a bit of a funny one. i got told i could have been 3-4 weeks or 5-6 when i first rang the midwife but when i went for my booking appointment she said i was 6+5 and then 2 days later i bled. the midwife said an embryo had been made but didn't attach and didn't really give me a name for what happened so i'm unsure really and she wasn't very nice so didn't ask too much. i didn't have hardly any pain with the bleed just normal cramping and she said i should have worse pain if i miscarries so 🤷🏼‍♀️

but i still lost something i thought i had ☹️ there is 💔

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:14

something i didn't know until earlier when OH asked was that men can also do pelvic floor exercises ?! 🤯

SmileyT · 23/05/2020 17:28

@lucyrp @unluckyducky yeah I don't think it makes it easier whether it's 5 weeks or 6weeks, you mourn the life you plan for. With my MC I got my BFP at 5w, had a scan at 6w and 7w and saw a heartbeat both times, then at 8w a nurse confirmed cervix was closed and looked good. 9w I went for a private scan and they confirmed no heartbeat. I think it's crazy that you have to wait to 12w for a scan on the NHS, no way could I go 12w not knowing if there was even a baby growing in there.. especially as you have your booking appt first so people get excited then so let down. DP has already accepted I'll probably get a private scan every week next pregnancy 🙈 and I agree @unluckyducky if I do need to be referred for tests having any losses I have recorded it will be easier for a referral x

AF arrived 3 days ago, 3 days early and while I initially tried to convince myself that it was implantation bleeding, I have now accepted reality and jumped on the June bus! Will catch up on posts shortly. Hope you’re all good ladies x

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:33

@SmileyT @unluckyducky it was one of those where i just felt pregnant a few days before my period wasn't even trying properly but as soon as it was a possibility i was so excited. i was still getting negatives tho so was a bit dubious. the worst bit was they nearly sent me for an emergency scan on the monday when i bled on the sunday imagine going there and there being nothing in there! how do you get private scans are they expensive ?!

33Carr · 23/05/2020 17:44

@lucyrp @SmileyT I'll definitely be going for early scans again Incase of another MMC. Probably around 7 weeks if it ever happens. Last time I paid £70, think different clinics have Groupon offers etc to get them cheaper. Does the NHS provide blood tests for HCG levels after a MC?

Bear127 · 23/05/2020 17:47

@unluckyducky I’ll have a look into seed cycling, thanks for the suggestion!

@Minster2012 £30 for ten sticks?! 🤯 I’ve just ordered 20 on Amazon to arrive tomorrow I think they were £28. Still a lot but it takes the stress out of squinting over faint likes on a cheapie!

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:49

@Bear127 i've done the same only £28 for 20 sticks. £30 for 10 id cry 😂🙈

blodyn91 · 23/05/2020 17:50

Dr Stacy Sims - must follow on insta for women menstrual cycle stuff! Women are not small men ted talk 💁🏼‍♀️ Must add that book to my list! Womens body is so fascinating.

Also just looked at my calendar and I should be ovulating today, period due 31 of May- so maybe I'm on the wrong bus 😂 sticking here now. Wont test till I've missed my period anyway (if I can resist).
Also what does CP stand for?

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:51

@33Carr i honestly have no idea. i was just left feeling like what on earth has actually happened in my body the last 3 weeks no one seems to care and i just got brushed away.

lucyrp · 23/05/2020 17:52

@blodyn91 CP stands for chemical pregnancy which is basically a miscarriage before 5 weeks

33Carr · 23/05/2020 17:57

@lucyrp I'm so sorry that's how you've been made to feel 😔 Think sometimes the staff can get a bit blasè to it all and then a bit insensitive. Hopefully you won't be in that situation again 🤞🏼
