@Bear127 @ @KRK05 day 7 of flashing smile for me it’s def laughing at me 🙄& I ran out so DH just had to take in the box to boots & pay £30 for 10 more 😱but you give me hope with you ovulating are CD20, im CD20 today so fingers crossed it’s tomorrow then. So @Bear127 we are true cycle buddies currently let’s have everything 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@unluckyducky it's only an issue if you ovulate early although since joining these threads early ovulation isn't strictly a bad thing. I was reading all sorts online about immature eggs and hard to fertilise but so many women conceive fine with early ovulation so I'm not actually too worried about it now. More intrigued to see what these agnus castus do! Do you know what day u tend to ovulate on?

@lucyrp Obviously I'm no expert cause was my first month using them but from reading posts on threads & even by the CB instructions it does say u could miss your surge if u dont. When I got my static yesterday it was actually in the afternoon I hadnt tested in the morning cause not been on my mind but then I thought il go ahead & test so I can see when I do ovulate since had started this month so who knows I maybe wouldnt have had that with FMU.

@Minster2012 Such a rip off!! Taking the P out women TTC, shouldnt be those prices 🤨 your static must be around the corner with being on CD20 🤞🏻 you actually give me life with that headline 😂😂😂 for DH sake that static better come asap 😂

@KRK05 i'm too scared to test in afternoon as i'm scared il get a fake static as i had a static last eeek in the afternoon after a ⭕️ if you remember ? and obviously wasn't ovulating then and if it is a static i can't continue testing because it'll be stuck on the screen although i do have a new box to open but will the new digital stick be able to pick it up straight away or does it have to have the data from the sticks leading up to it ?? does that make sense ?

@unluckyducky i am only using the CB OPKs and i've just written to @KRK05 below my dilemma. any advice would be welcome 🙈

@lucyrp you carry on with the stick you are using, that’s what I’m going to do now with new box

@unluckyducky I’m only testing with CB in the morning as they are (as we’ve just seen) hella expensive, I am using ICs too during the rest of the day to try not to miss my peak

@lucyrp Yeah I remember that, was such a weird one. I wouldve tested twice a day one having a flashing but then I didnt get what u had before so I get what u mean. It's just lots say they would miss their static if they hadn't. U wouldnt be able to use a new holder (only the sticks from new pack in same holder) cause it would start again from a baseline (somebody correct me if I'm wrong though 😂)

Mind you my peak could have missed me 😂😱

@Minster2012 yeah i get that but what i'm saying is what if i get a static this afternoon and its a fake static as i had one of those last week after a ⭕️ in the morning because it was my first test and was told it was a baseline so i did another in the afternoon to see and i had a static. so if i get a static now this afternoon is it definitely going to be my static ? and i don't be able to carry on testing tomorrow to make sure will i ??

@KRK05 this is my dilemma agh! i'm currently desperate for the loo so do i test now or not someone relieve me please 😂😭

@lucyrp Its easier for me to say go pee in that cup & dip that stick but I was doing IC too so had comparison & I totally get what u mean about what u had not long ago but tbh I dont think CB would be unreliable to give a static smiley if it wasnt going to be (maybe cause u had a CP & was on your AF when u took it, hormones were a bit messed up)

I did the same as @Minster2012, used CB in morning and ics in the afternoon/evening.

@lucyrp you should only test with the CB in the afternoon if you’ve had a flashing in the morning

& if you want to pee now then pee into a cup & let it sit for a few mins & decide x

So if it’s flashing smile then yeah you can test again but if I were you i would still wait until later in pm @lucyrp but entirely your choice xx

@Katao @KRK05 @Minster2012 i have peed in a cup then dipped my CB so now i'm waiting for the smiley but scared i've messed up my whole ovulation😭🙈

@lucyrp U definitely wont have messed up your whole ovulation, I wouldve tested twice a day after a flashing that's why I bought the 20 pack but only because it was my first month using them so I definitely wanted to see that static & not miss my peak 😂

@lucyrp Well at least u know it's still a flashing & you've not missed anything. What CD is it for u I'm sure your a day ahead of me? So theres still plenty time, my day of ov is today so CD13 so pretty much a standard midway point. Wait & see next month will be a completely different day 😂

@lucyrp I had the same thing! A spike in temp today from 36.60 to 36.84 today but I think it's because I had a few glasses of subs last night as my Ovulation isnt supposed to be until Tuesday and getting negative LH ... I think lots of things can make it spike!

Ha ha this whole thing sends us crazy! @lucyrp it’s your body that does your ovulation & of course it doesn’t know you’ve dipped a stick in piss!! 🙈don’t worry & my goodness I think you & your OH are at it more than 🐰so even if your pee misses it your DTD will be giving yourselves the best possible chance anyway. But we all like to know what our bodies are doing that’s why we like to track.

@KRK05 i was actually relieved to see the flashing 😂😂 my DS doesn't see OP at all since lockdown because he's so immature and still going out and doing stupid things so agreed to let my mum have him on weekends sometimes as she lives by herself and normally looks after him every day while i'm working and recently done the school run etc for me and DS is going to hers for a sleepover tonight so if ovulation is due in the next few days i hope its while DS is at nanny's 😂

@KRK05 sorry had a mad 5 minutes! i'm CD14 yeah so one day ahead of you!
