50 shades of TTC (June bus part 2)

Let's all intro ourselves again...so people can use the top of the thread as a quick reference to where we are at and maybe find some cycle buddies - everyone welcome to join the madhouse of the June 2020 bus x

@Skip86 haha I did have visions of surgeons going in with scalpels for a bit of hair removal! That would be some serious dedication - my OH will just need to put up with a bit of stubble for now. I mean, he's got a beard, so he never really notices when it matters 😂😂

@SmileyT could you add me on the list for 21st June please? I will be testing then unless AF shows sooner. It won't let me attach a photo of my CB sticks from last month for you, but I had 2 lines (one darker than the other) while I had a flashy smiley. Never did get to see what the lines looked like for static!

I'm CD13 today, stark white OPK this morning, but feeling a bit crampy, so hopefully I will start to see a second line over the coming days. I genuinely hate this part more than the TWW, longer cycles are boooooooring! It's so hard to keep the motivation to bang every other day as well, think I might need to mix it up with some new tricks. There's only so many times that flashing my boobs at him will work, I guess 😂😅

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum & @lucyrp another one on the “can’t wait til DS goes back nursery” here! Adore him to death but man he’s FULL ON & he needs a bit more guidance & positive discipline than I can give he’s either angel or devil, there is no in between. I’ve been shielding since miscarriage in the week before full lockdown so mid March & im going stir crazy. His nursery has been open the entire time & is based on a farm, very much outdoors so they have lots of space, I’ve had regular contact with his “girlfriend’s mum” who’s been still going there throughout & she says the steps they’ve got in place are fab so I’m reassured. He only goes one day a week currently til Sep anyway so he’s booked to go back 10th June. Him & DH will shower when they get back &eat together & for my mental health I’m willing to risk it. It’s either that or wait until I have a vaccine & I think my mental health needs a day off more!

@Juno231well done to you too! I want to lose weight but also cba atm there’s no push since I won’t be wearing a swimming costume any time soon! X

Has anyone been pregnant with a toddler before? How do you go about lifting them etc? Can you? I’m scared I was so careful when I was preg with him x

@Juno231thats great! I'm also trying and have lost 6lbs so far, cutting down on alcohol and increasing my walking is definitely helping x

Ps @SS123456 I’m on CD23 & day 11 of flashing smiles on clear blue tests so apparently I haven’t ovulated yet, as is @Bear127, so you aren’t alone! Though i have no idea on my cycles as this is my first proper one & also basically never had a proper high on the internet cheapies either so I’m just gonna stop the clear blue now, have sex at least every other day & wait & see

@Cocoblue22 most of my pregnant friends were at the gym weight lifting and doing crossfit pretty much until they popped so I don't imagine lifting a toddler is a big deal?

Btw the only reason I got my arse in gear for weight loss is cause my OH made a comment about me not having any self discipline so this is my showing him the finger lol!

@sarahttc2020 well done! I'm hoping to lose another couple of pounds before AF is due :)

Awww @Cocoblue22 I don’t want to worry you honestly it’s fine with a toddler just take it that for IVF they are a little more cautious Cos there are often more concerns that have brought ppl there in the first place so they want the best opportunity then they say after the TWW return to life as normal just be a bit careful as with any pregnancy those first 12 weeks are the ones you need to look after yourself that’s all

Wow go you weight loss girls! I'm sat here getting fatter by the day, have no self control or discipline during this lockdown! I'll need to be rolled out the door by the time we're allowed out properly lol! I'll then be really unhealthy and do a dreadful crash diet 😬and inevitably put it all bk on 🙈😂

@Vil10 omg I didn't know we were the same age! I'm 23 in August 😃 don't worry you sound exactly like me! I've done 2 loads of washing and they're both out in the line and now I'm walking before I go back and sort tea out!

OMG @lucyrp I noted that down on my femometer app on CD15 I put “felt nauseous off & on for afternoon & weird metallic taste in my mouth” but I was on day 2 flashing smile on CB 😂

Such a good sign @lucyrp !!! Both of my dd’s pg it tasted like I’d been licking a lamppost- but totally worth it

Took a day off yesterday as my little boy was getting his stitches out, he was a boss though as always! Braver than me 🙈 then went over to my mum & dads to have a bbq in the garden (another bbq oops 😝) soz bad I know its lockdown but we were in the garden & I've had enough now 😂

It's really too hard to catch up with every single on of yous but I promise I have read your messages, if I tag individually il be here until tea time 🙄

Update from me though, I have no clue where I am in my cycle either 4DPO or not even ovulated 🤷🏼‍♀️ I just feel like a dull ache in my lower belly though that's been past 2 days now, kind of feels like mild AF pains so maybe the witch is gonna show her face sooner this month 🤔 tbh I feel totally confused by this cycle, I'm just wanting to move onto the next. Halfway through & check me out being a moan & so negative 🙈

@TheGirlWhoLived @Minster2012 I'm currently CD18 so 2po so very odd but I shall make a note of it and see what happens!

Although my app says ovulation passed by 7 days even tho my static was on Sunday!

@lucyrp I didn’t realise we were either until now!! We sound so mature haha! How many dpo are you again? Sorry I didn’t screenshot the list!

@Vil10 of course we are 👌🏼 I am 2dpo according to my CB tests but my fermometer app reckons I'm 7dpo 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 eithrt way I have it covered 😂

@minster2012 @SarahTTC2020 thanks ladies! My app tells me to start using opks from day 6 so the last 15 days of negatives is starting to take its toll! Particularly as we have been dtd loads the last week using pre-seed thinking it would be my fertile week and it now seems it wasn't 😩

@KRK05 they should announce the increase in social bubbles tomorrow anyway 🤞🏻I’m so looking forwards to doing the same. I’m also totally with you on the no idea about my cycle so I’m just waiting for AF & gonna start afresh next time really

@lucyrp I’ve got no idea what my cycle is doing so I’ve just put my weird taste down to hormones 🤷‍♀️

@Minster2012 Yeah I'm positive from the 28th here in Scotland we can visit family outdoors, so was just 2 days early 😝 it gets so deflating doesnt it 😭 then spend so much time stressed on it & that's no good! Has that u given up on the CB ones now? Cant believe u kept getting that joker flashy 😫 so annoyed for u!

@KRK05 Ah yes you are in Scotland we’ll I don’t blame you tbh it’s so grinding isn’t it. When we can see ppl I’m going to see my family & few friends as I trust them to be sensible (as I’m highly vulnerable) but def not go into town or go shopping as it’s just not worth it. But I NEED TO SEE PPL & see different scenery 😩. I’m stopping with CB after this morning & 11 days of flashing smiles. I’ll just wait see what my body does 🤷‍♀️

@Minster2012 Yeah there being a lot stricter here with lockdown easing 🙈 no school until 11 August!! Oh yeah definitely, it's not even worth taking the chance especially with u being vulnerable. I cant wait to see different scenery & other people properly 😭 really hope your just ovulating super late, just keep the banging up so your covered 😝
