My main worry is somehow not being compatible, or things not working properly with my OH, as he doesn’t have any children from previous relationships. But fingers crossed it’ll happen naturally for us without much investigation required. 🤞🏻

lucyrp · 26/05/2020 16:43

@WildButterfly I'm unsure as to if it was a CP or a MC because I think I was around 7 weeks from my dates but the midwife said it could have been earlier. I had all the right symptoms etc and my boobs have only just gone down in size again. I've never tracked in the past either so its a new one on me

WildButterfly · 26/05/2020 16:57

I’m sorry to hear that @lucyrp, it’s really sad. Mine wasn’t a planned preg and to be fair it was the right thing to happen. Mine was definitely a MMC around 9 weeks, the pain was something I never felt before. Fingers crossed this will be a lucky month for you!

lucyrp · 26/05/2020 17:01

@WildButterfly I didn't have any unusual pain with mine at all it was just like period cramps and normal bleeding but I'd had positive pregnancy tests so was very weird. Fingers crossed for you too?

lucyrp · 26/05/2020 17:01

Typo I meant ! Not ?

Mococo1 · 26/05/2020 17:13

@lucyrp either way it's a loss in my mind, and emotionally you still went through the motions! But also I heard you could be more fertile afterwards so that's a good sign for you! 😛

I had a lot of pain after my MC but found out at 7weeks..and also my boobs haven't seemed to deflate since!? If been waiting for them to shrink post period but they're here still busting out my bra..must be the lockdown weight gain lol

lucyrp · 26/05/2020 17:16

@Mococo1 yes it definitely is a loss which is sad, hoping this month is a lucky month. Can't say I'm relaxed because I'm totally not😂 I've had back pain today and I'm like omg is it a symptom but I only ovulated yesterday 😂I had a positive pregnancy test at what would have been 4 weeks and left it until 7 weeks to go to midwife as i was still getting negative tests too. Then I had a bleed two days later. Well I think my boobs have shrunk but OH doesn't seem to think they have so I'm not sure 😂

BobbingAlong91 · 26/05/2020 17:34

Hi everyone!

I hope you don’t mind if I join? Like @WildButterfly, I’ve been lurking on the thread for a while and just catching up before my first post. Sorry to those who have had previous losses, I have everything crossed for some BFPs soon!

Me and DP are both 29 and no DC. This is the first month we have decided to go with the flow and see what happens! I’m pretty regular but not using OPKs etc in an attempt to not get obsessed (easier said than done, I’m sure!). AF due 15 June, so a bit later than most here.

Happy BDing all!

P.S. I’m with @lucyrp on the microblading. I got mine done a couple of years ago and it was the best beauty investment I’ve made!

TTCgee · 26/05/2020 17:35

So after convincing myself I ovulated yday and was feeling sick today I've just done another OPK and think I'm actually in the surge now instead as it's way darker than the one from 2 days ago!

Poor hubby! He thought he was coming to the end of me jumping him but now it's round 2 😂😂😂

TTCgee · 26/05/2020 17:37

@lucyrp @Mococo1 sending you both hugs! I can't honestly even imagine how horrible MMCs must have been for you both 😓😓Just the thought of finally getting my BFP and then it not staying is too awful to even think about! Hoping you two get your BFPs this month xxx

notyetamumbuttrying · 26/05/2020 17:37

@Franklydear eek well I'm glad you're feeling better now and best of luck in ttc!
Welcome @WildButterfly and good luck to you too!
Hi @Newbie9 I did as per the instructions first time which was a few days before but now I just do it the day before my app says.
Sorry to hear about your losses @lucyrp and @Mococo1 ttc really is hard work isn't it!
Here's to us all catching this month! 🤞🏾

JosieF95 · 26/05/2020 17:47

@SmileyT Hi! Replying to your post on the previous thread, I had my withdrawal bleed 13-16th May, like I say just seeing what happens! My Clue App says I should be ovulating, i’ve had some symptoms but with being on contraceptives for about 10 years not sure how accurate it is!
So will see, I was meant to be getting married this weekend but has obviously been postponed so hoping to get pregnant before our new wedding date in August (I know it’s optomistic but i’m hopeful)! Have never been a part of one of these groups, I like hearing everyone’s stories it’s helpful!

TTCmummy2021 · 26/05/2020 17:58

Hello! Been told to come over here so I have! Just hit peak ovulation yesterday so the deed has been done. Wife’s AF is due on 09 June so fingers crossed she doesn’t show 🤞

Katao · 26/05/2020 18:00

Oh @josief95 I'm so sorry about your wedding being cancelled, it must be so tough. I found the planning so stressful (a few years ago) and honestly if it had been cancelled I'm not sure id have had rearranged 😂 I feel so bad for anyone who has had their special day taken away because of covid. You are due a bit of luck, fingers crossed for a bfp instead 😉

lucyrp · 26/05/2020 18:08

@BobbingAlong91 yes best thing I've ever done! Good investment!!!

@TTCgee @notyetamumbuttrying
thank you! It is hard ☹️☹️

notyetamumbuttrying · 26/05/2020 18:09

Fingers crossed for you and your wife @TTCmummy2021!!
Best of luck @JosieF95 sorry to hear about your wedding, but August is a great month to get married. We got married outside last August and it was magical, I'm sure yours will be too!

TTCmummy2021 · 26/05/2020 18:10

I got married in August! It sucks but it’s not so bad!

SmileyT · 26/05/2020 18:27

FFS I've just got in from work and I now know how people who have a life at the weekend feel catching up 😂

I actually find getting my vag waxed quite cathartic, I think I've had it done so many times it actually doesn't hurt really. Luckily I've never plucked my brows so they are finally in fashion but have no idea how to keep them in shape myself as I'm scared to get the tweezers out.

I want to make a list of everyone's test dates but it's so hard to keep up, might put one together on notes as I go through 🤔

For those talking of CB I bought 25 sticks for £30 I think, think I used 6 last cycle so they will last me 4 cycles which isn't too bad cost wise.

@LV1987 hopefully work will keep you busy in the waiting period, tbh I think my job is pretty secure but god knows what will happen.

@Juno231 @watermelonwizard @notyetamumbuttrying @Franklydear @Noble89 think we are all around the same point expecting ovulation end of this week, blank CB this morning and stark white IC this afternoon, but as OH says if I'm ovulating on Friday that isn't a surprise.

Sperm can definitely hang around and the increase in chances of conception from daily to every other day is 23% to 25% so I don't reckon it will increase too much more doing it more than once a day it's just a probability game we can all only do what we can so try not to stress ladies as that definitely doesn't help.

I find it impossible to tell between semen, CM and the lube, but not sure how much EWCM I get so maybe it's obvious if you know what you're looking for.

My normal travel costs into central London are £220 a month and my hair costs £160 every 6 weeks and i know it's awful but I probably spend about £250 on the gym a month as I do ridiculous boujee London gym classes so definitely saved but also got fatter and less aesthetically pleasing 🤪

@Franklydear hope you feel better soon 💕

@Newbie9 I've been using opks as soon as my period finishes I've only tracked 2 months and heard ovulation date can move so didn't want to miss it 🙈

@TTCgee yes that is definitely your peak, mine normally go high for the couple days before peak aswell 👌🏾

Hi @JosieF95 ooh an August wedding that's exciting and not too far delayed from your original plan. I think it's good to just go with the flow especially as you have wedding to look forward to aswell no point stressing if you can help it ☺️

Which apps do you all use? I’ve been keeping track of my cycles since the pill and sex/ovulation stick results etc but I’d be interested in putting it all into an app. Can you backdate them too?

notyetamumbuttrying · 26/05/2020 18:40

@Bear127 Flo is amazing I think! Others have previously agreed too.
Hope you had a good day today @SmileyT

watermelonwizard · 26/05/2020 18:56

@SmileyT yeaaa another stark white IC for me, my CBs arrived today so looking forward to a change of scene to wee on 🤣 I so hope i ovulate this week.

I’ve been too scared to get a vag wax , I get my eyebrows waxed and tinted every 3 weeks usually and I enjoy that pain so maybe I’d be fine lol. I just think once you start you have to keep it up 😂

I’m so excited for everyone’s tests too! 🤞🏼

Newbie9 · 26/05/2020 19:09

@mococo1 thank you, I've ordered some tests that go with the fermometre app so we'll see how it goes! I'm cd6 today so will prob start day 8 which is early but don't want to miss it! @notyetamumbuttrying thanks Hun I think that's a good idea!!

@smileyt I guess while you're still figuring your cycle out it's a good idea. I think my cycle this month will be shorter so will start early x

slimshadyscousin · 26/05/2020 19:09

Bloody hell I have pages to read after working all day 😂

I’m so looking forward to everyone testing too, I know it’s difficult for some people but I love seeing line eye threads with BFPs!

SmileyT · 26/05/2020 19:19

@Bear127 I use a flo, femometer, FF, Clue, CB one, ovia, premom and my Fitbit app 😂 tbh femometer is the best for me and you can backdate your cycles x

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying busy day which means less time obsessing which is good, how was yours? X

@watermelonwizard yay to CB and yes to waxing your vag, it's just so much smoother than shaving, all my friends have had laser surgery and say that is amazing but expensive x

@Newbie9 yeah I'm a geek and find it all really interesting as although we have an lh surge mine are stark white days 7-11 and 20- 26 but a little bit of lh the rest of the time, just interesting to know what our bodies are doing. I use the femometer opks and they are pretty easy to read x
