Let's all intro ourselves again...so people can use the top of the thread as a quick reference to where we are at and maybe find some cycle buddies - everyone welcome to join the madhouse of the June 2020 bus x

@lucyrp my friend who now has a 5 month old said she had sex 2 days before ovulation day as her OH was away for work the day before and day of ovulation day and she obviously got pregnant on just that one time! When I was first researching it it said that obviously it will increase your chances having sex multiple time’s a day everyday but every other or every 2 also gives you a good chance! I think as long as you DTD in the 2 days leading up to and the day of ovulation you’ve definitely got a strong chance! I thought my ov day was 23rd so DTD 3 times but now I’m thinking it might’ve been the 24th and we didn’t DTD at all that day, I think that’s why I’m thinking it’s not my month! But we never know!

@cocoblue22 oh man! So frustrating when you're trying around that time anyway. I just studied the guide on the fermometer app so was like oooh let's see my CM lol and got so excited lol

@lucyrp sending you so much baby dust! I think this is gna be a good month for BFPs I'm very optimistic for everyone! 😄

@Vil10 yeah its a difficult one isn't it! And technically you don't even have to DTD on the day of ovulation as it could have been 5 days before and still stick because sperm can survive for up to 5 days in our bodies so god knows! Its just heart against head most of the time isn't it🙈

@lucyrp I actually read on nhs page it can live up to 7 days! Shocked!

@Amy00 sorry about your cp, thats so tough. I'm going to try to hold out as near to af due as I can to test. I started at 9dpo ladt month and did my head in. Especially as i got one faint positive and then nothing else after that so I was so confused and disappointed. I have loads of ic test tjough and very little will power so we will see!

Argh help! I'm due to ovulate on CD17 but my LH has shown high from yday on the App, does this mean I'm in my fertile window? The app says I'm not in my window until 2 days lol

@blodyn91 pre wedding honeymoon sounds amazing tbf that would deffo help take your mind off it! Tbf I might be in same boat we were meant to be going on holiday this summer which is now moved to next summer so would want baby to be old enough to travel and had injections etc so we’ve only got a few months to try then may have to postpone! I really don’t want to do that! I wouldn’t mind going preg between 12-25 weeks (after that I was too huge) or with 4months+ baby but anything in between wouldn’t really work x

@lucyrp twice is plenty don’t worry you’ll be fine! We’re just doing once a day every day that’s what we did last time and it worked just fine so you might end up with triplets with your average no of DTD each day haha!! X

Just tested & guess what ANOTHER PEAK!! 😭 That's me CD16 with peaks since Friday 🙈 it says to keep testing until lh levels go low but that doesnt look like its gonna happen. U read such conflicting things online, some say go by last peak but some to go by the first cause I may just have a long surge or means Ive maybe released 2 eggs. So I have no clue if I've ovulated or still yet to come 😅

Does anybody get quite bad ovulation pains? I ended up really sore last night like a stabbing pain & feeling quite tender today. A bit sore in my back too & feeling bit nauseous 🤮 I'd probably be more in it to say I ovulated last night/today maybe? But then I keep thinking is it a bit too sore to be ovulation pains 🤔 cause I've never had it before so totally out the blue for me.

@Minster2012 Itl probably be another two weeks until I'm into the TWW so il be testing July at this rate 😂 have u had your static yet??

@lucyrp I secretly love him being a mummy's boy, hes so protective of me! Probably why I'd love loads sons 😂 was it like brown CM when u wiped? I'm sure I've heard that's super fertile...

@Skip86 Your symptoms sound promising u know kind of like the perfect midway for inplantation 🤞🏻 I'm the same as u, if I dont get my BFP I'm so excited to see everybody elses 🥰

Sorry to whoever has says there OH might be at risk of losing job (I remember reading but cant find the post now) fingers crossed it doesnt come to that & u can continue your TTC journey, although even better if u get BFP this cycle 🤞🏻

@Mococo1 I would totally say you're in your fertile window! I don't really go off the apps predicted days thag much as fermometer hasn't been correct for me

@amy00 sorry to hear about your CP can be so disappointing after getting your hopes up, but atleast you know something right is going on next time hopefully the bean sticks xx

I'm thinking I should wait to test after my TWW begins but just can't help I'm so impatient!

@lucyrp it really is, we need to stop being so hard on ourselves! I’m sure we’ve done what we can, and now it’s just a waiting game, I think I’ll feel less positive if I don’t start getting any early signs!

@Mococo1 yeah I would if I were you, what CD are you now and how long are your cycles ??

@KRK05 that's crazy! Omg some people not getting peak and others getting too much! I'm so frustrated on your behalf!
(A thought though - what if you're releasing multiple eggs, one every day, pop pop pop... multiple babies? 😳)

@lucyrp I know I had always heard 5 days but when i looked it up nhs say 7. I had a badly timed health hiccup so didn't dtd around ovulation but after reading that I'm still in with a slim shot. I won't hold my breath though!

Depends on my mood how optimistic I feel 😂 we were very good last month and had all dates covered and still no bfp so only getting a couple of chances in early on in fertile week doesn't seem to hopeful. Anyway i might need some further treatment so may be as well if I'm not pg this month but that doesn't stop me wanting it!

@lucyrp I think around 31/32 days (according to old apps that was my mean average on no contraception)

When on the pill it was around 26 days (as I would take the 21days pill and come on a few days into my break)

it took AF 6 weeks to come after MC (preg conceived on pill)

so maybe my cycles are shorter now I'm off the pill? That's my only explanation or I might get my peak in a few days time gna test in about an hour so let's see if my reading is higher today! X

@katao a friend knew her cycles well and got preg 6/7 days before O with a broken condom- and was convinced she wouldn't need back up so you are defo still in with a chance xx

@Mococo1 I swear sperm is more liquidy than my EWCM? Like when I have ewcm it's literally like part boiled egg white and stringy whereas leftover sperm is more fluid. But god knows?

Saw someone mention lockdown savings and I think we're saving £500/month on wfh! Perfect as the house we're buying needs a lot of work doing so we need every penny!

@33Carr I think I'm getting calmer with each cycle cause I'm starting to realise this might take a while 🙊. Cycle 5 for me now but I hope you won't have to get to this stage x

@Juno231 hah thanks! I probably won't get to cycle 5 this tome round as I'm getting married next year so might have to put TTC on hold for a bit... really hoping it doesn't get to that though! Might just carry on anyway and deal with the consequences later haha! Still getting very negative OPKs so not sure weather I'm going to ovulate this month anyway!

It's all so confusing! just going to continue to DTD the hope for the best now

@juno321 wow that's amazing! we took a mortgage break but will continue to make a portion of the payment and with commuting costs at zero/DH no longer eating lunch/coffee everyday everyday I think we're saving well over £1300 for the next few months if we continue lockdown

We also have a bit more saved as we were planning on splashing out on a holiday in June- but I think if I'm not preg and travel commences we will defo be going overbudget on the hols x

@33Carr have you already got your dress? I really hope we wont have to make the decision to stop trying! 🤞 Hope you managed to re schedule everything as well! Stupid corona.
Yes we are also saving! DF (darling fiance?🤣) gone back to work now, and I'm still working from home so saving a lot on lunches and fuel. Also no going out out 🙈
