@Cocoblue22 Oh, we just finished White Lines last night. I think I might try Working Moms next after recommendations on this thread.

popcorndiva · 25/05/2020 08:56

Coming to join you guys for my tww. Already defeatist and now think I have a hormonal imbalance as my rhr always drops after ovulation no rising at all. I am 2dpo today.

Vil10 · 25/05/2020 08:58

@SmileyT @lucyrp I agree with the whole insta and pregnancy announcements!! Pretty sure my OH is getting bored of me saying “oh guess who’s pregnant” or “guess who’s pregnant again”, well done you fertile bitchHmm, slightly happy for them slightly jealous kinda emotion!

Vil10 · 25/05/2020 08:59

@popcorndiva I’m also 2dpo!

notyetamumbuttrying · 25/05/2020 09:05

Ha @Vil10 that's how I am too 😂
Yeah being on here is much @lucyrp I agree!

Skip86 · 25/05/2020 09:09

The Let Down is good! But then I'm probably biased because it's Aussie and so the humour is in line with mine. It came out here just after my first baby was born and made me cry and laugh so much - it hits the nail in the head with being a first time mum (and I was also hormonal and cried at errrything).

Minster2012 · 25/05/2020 09:15

Morning ladies! A lazy one for me this morning so catching up over breakfast...
@Skip86 don’t worry your mantle as first poster of the day for me I still read it as that! But how can your phone NOT recognise twat??!! Something I seem to write regularly!

My hubs would be tall one or similar! I think if I were in Australia I’d just wake up with mild perspiration constantly 🤔

@RiverRoo I also thought “amazing” we’ve got a first BFP! I’ve not seen those OPKs either but seems like you had a good peak & covered it by errrr sex?!!!

@lucyrp yep in the U.K. you can pay a surrogate “reasonable expenses” to carry your baby which is on average c£16,000-20,000 & the surrogate has to keep receipts for as much as possible but it can be whatever you decide & no case has been turned down so far even paying an Indian surrogate £35,000 then have to go to family court & show receipts for as much as possible things like petrol for appointments, maternity clothes, takeaway receipts, but lots can be spurious like doggy daycare when my friend was over with us for appointments & couldn’t walk her dog, & we had to pay for her & her husband to have days off for lots of appointments. Our son was legally their child on the birth certificate until we had the family court date which was when he was 7 months old despite being no genetic link to them which is what was not very well explained in the show. No surrogacy agreement in the U.K. is legally binding it’s crap & ultimate trust. Anyways!

Sooooo day 9 flashing smile for me here & though I think I’ve flushed the mild cystitis I’ve resigned myself to the fact that my lovely angel of death IVF nurse consultant was right that my eggs are likely ripening but not actually “popping out” which is prop what those laughing smiles are telling me but we are just gonna keep shagging & enjoying ourselves & hey, it may happen.Plus all of you lot will get the BFPs from all the soft porn, whips, fanny ticklers, bullets & ties so that will keep me going! 💕🥰

notyetamumbuttrying · 25/05/2020 09:15

Whoops missed out the word better at the end of my sentence @lucyrp*!
@Skip86 would you recommend the let down to a bitter woman who hasn't yet conceived 😂 I'm joking, I'm not that bitter yet but heading that way 😆

lucyrp · 25/05/2020 09:22

@notyetamumbuttrying i'm glad we agree🤪

@Minster2012 you are the fountain of knowledge! i never knew any of that but then again i've never looked it up or anything. that's mental isn't it! wtf!

Anyone have any clue on my BBT? i know we talked about it yesterday but i've forgotten 😂

blodyn91 · 25/05/2020 09:28

@lucyrp So Ive listened/ read a bit about training and the menstrual cycle, and pretty sure temp drops after ovulation if I remember correctly. Training wise your body is better at adapting to high intensity stuff from end of AF till ovulation then they say to take things easy. I cant find it now though!! annoyingly

J0DI3 · 25/05/2020 09:31

Hello ladies! I decided to take a few days away from my phone whilst AF was around and have a bit of me time but actually ended up decorating and buying a new family car - oops! Took me a while to get through all the messages but I think I’ve caught up and have some new programs to get into on Netflix lol! I’m now on CD8 and OPK testing for the first time. Hope all you ladies are well and sending you all baby dust for June 😁 xx

lucyrp · 25/05/2020 09:31

@blodyn91 ooo that's very interesting! i always love exercising more after AF so makes sense! my temp shot up yesterday which is when i got my static smiley and today its dropped right back down below my usual! i've attached my chart but ignore my fertile day as it doesn't have any data to go off so il probs have to input it as yesterday but waiting to see what happens with it at the end of the month

50 shades of TTC (June bus part 2)
notyetamumbuttrying · 25/05/2020 09:42

Ooh nice one @J0DI3! Good luck with testing, I enjoy doing it as you feel more confident it might actually happen seeing that positive surge in your LH! I'm cd9 so we're fairly close in cycles. Baby dust to you too ✨

RiverRoo · 25/05/2020 09:44

Thanks for the replies @Skip86 @SmileyT and @Minster2012 The tests are from the First Response pregnancy planning kit and I quite like them although I haven't used many others as just started with OPK testing. I'm in Australia too so not sure if they have them in the UK? And yes! They do look a lot like the FR pregnancy tests!!

@SmileyT I definitely think that what you suggested could be true - that h may not have ovulated. I guess I won't know for sure until AF arrives. I really wish I did temps this month! My CM changes seem to have supported ovulation but who knows! I'm 4DPO so will update you all soon

J0DI3 · 25/05/2020 09:44

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah I feel a lot calmer this time round just because I feel like I’m going to get a more accurate idea of when I’ll ovulate. Plus it satisfies the urge to POAS 😂 AF is next due on our first wedding anniversary so it would be great to get a BFP on that day instead! Xx

Cocoblue22 · 25/05/2020 09:45

@Skip86 haha such a test! No I’m sure iPhone doesn’t know 🤣 cracked me up that one!

@notyetamumbuttrying you should give save me and our girl a try watched with (dare I say it) DH 🤣 and he liked them too.

Yeah I’m not convinced white lines is that great either but like you say we’re invested! Tried to watch that kingdom I think it was called but even DH (haha again) wasn’t that impressed maybe we didn’t give it long enough but there’s 4 series for me to watch that Id have to really like it!! X

Cocoblue22 · 25/05/2020 09:51

@Skip86 I’ve heard good things about the let down I’ll give it a try thanks xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 25/05/2020 09:52

Yep it really does @J0DI3 😂 aww that would be wonderful wouldn't it! I'm such a freak so I've already worked out that if we catch this month I can announce it on our year wedding anniversary as we'll be 12 weeks 😬 I need to get a life don't I lol!!
Haha I'm glad DH 😉 liked them too @Cocoblue22 I'm gonna call him this today and see how he reacts, keep you posted lol!
Ooh will look into that kingdom too then!

Cocoblue22 · 25/05/2020 09:53

@Minster2012 I didn’t know any of that that’s really interesting! Was you ever worried your friend would change her mind? Did she have kids of her own already? Does she still see your little one? X

blodyn91 · 25/05/2020 10:02

anybody else checked and realised that if we have just started our TWW we are due around valentines 🥰 really getting ahead of myself here 🤣

Cocoblue22 · 25/05/2020 10:03

Ladies how long do you normally get your high oestrogen/flashing smileys for? I’m CD14 and day 5 of high on my CB fertility monitor.

I still have tummy ache I’m really not sure why. I’m thinking either wind/due to coming off pill/change of medications/maybe a UTI (although doesn’t burn or sting when I pee and I don’t think I’ve ever had one)/maybe a pulled muscle (no idea how) I’m gonna drink some cranberry juice and I’ve switched to decaf coffee in case it’s that. It’s like a dull ache/period pain just seems weird that it started a few days ago when my oestrogen levels went up. It’s making DTD (dare I use it haha) less fun 😭 any of you had similar ever? X

notyetamumbuttrying · 25/05/2020 10:04

@blodyn91 I did this the minute I got my period as hubby's bday is the day before valentines lol! I am the worse for forward planning 😂

Cocoblue22 · 25/05/2020 10:04

@blodyn91 haha I already worked out if we were lucky this month my DD would be 16th Feb!! Deffo jumping the gun a little but oh well! X

@unluckyducky hadn't even thought how nice it would be to tell my dad on Father's Day that he was going to be a grandad again! (I have a nephew and another on the way).
