SmileyT · 21/05/2020 19:55

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@DBJT they told me at the second scan - first scan they said everything was looking fine uterus wise. They told me verbally in the second scan, but gave me no paperwork. First scan I got paperwork but it just talked about the size of my embryo. Have you been told you have thin lining?

2020wish · 25/05/2020 16:54

So it’s nearly 5pm and I didn’t haven’t had anymore brown spotting from the once that I wiped this morning at 8am. My last two mc started with bright red blood. Anyone else experience this?

SmileyT · 25/05/2020 17:19

@2020wish when was AF due for you? Were your previous MC at similar stages? Could be different if it's earlier this time. Mine was a MMC where everything had stopped progressing at nearly 8 weeks but it started with brown spotting over several days before there was anything bright red x

@Bellabubble

They never told me directly or explained anything which I find very annoying. On the paper it says endometrial thickness have a look at what they gave you 2 c if it does.
I have become a researcher overnight

2020wish · 25/05/2020 17:34

@SmileyT it was due today. My last two started with bright red blood, one was same time as this and other was 7 weeks. I’ve never experienced spotting in my life. This a first

Bellabubble · 25/05/2020 17:37

@2020wish My mc started with brown spotting that progressed to red bleeding after a few days. But I have also heard of people who have spotted throughout pregnancies and some even had red blood and still had a healthy pregnancy..it’s so confusing as there it can vary so much between everyone. x

2020wish · 25/05/2020 17:46

I know i guess it’s just a waiting game

VP91x · 25/05/2020 19:07

@2020wish horrible being in such limbo! Hopefully you get some support tomorrow when everything is open again?

2020wish · 25/05/2020 19:24

I hope so. When are you testing?

Nannon145 · 25/05/2020 19:38

Hey everyone. Hope you don’t mind me joining.
I’m TTCing for baby number 1. I did get pregnant at the start of this month but unfortunately miscarried at 5 weeks 🙁

We decided to jump straight in and try again without waiting. Has a positive OPK yesterday on CD14 which is really early for me, can a miscarriage change your ovulation day like that?

Literally since miscarrying, it’s really made me realise how much I want this. It’s all I can think about and I pray everyday that I will get pregnant soon and baby sticks 🤞🏻 xxx

Saim86 · 25/05/2020 20:26

Hi ladies...ttc after a miscarriage at 15 weeks due to baby having heart defects and trisomy 21.....on CD2 of my first period after the miscarriage hoping our rainbow will be here soon 🙏🏻

1990EM · 25/05/2020 21:46

@Nannon145 Hi there, so sorry for your loss. I miscarried this month as well 💔 Have you done a pregnancy test recently? Just asking as I get high readings on opks when I'm pregnant. Some of them don't differentiate between HCG and LH. The reason I found out I was pregnant with my son was because I had positive okps for over a week! Turns out I was pregnant not ovulating. So if there is any hcg in your system left over from your previous pregnancy it cpuld still be showing up on ovulation tests and giving a false positive? Hope I'm wrong though. What date was your miscarriage? Hope you're doing ok 💗

1990EM · 25/05/2020 21:49

@Saim86 so sorry for your loss, what a lot to go through. Praying we all get good news in the next few weeks 💕 this time next year we could all be holding our rainbow babies 🌈

HE88 · 25/05/2020 21:50

Hi @Nannon145 and @Saim86 welcome to the thread sorry that you find yourself here and for what you have went through.

@2020wish and @Wishingfornumber2 really sorry that af got you that's rotten. @2020wish I hope you get some answers from your gp and get referred for some investigations.

Hope everyone else is doing OK. I've been feeling a bit out of sorts today have had pain in my lower abdo and in my right side front and back, also had a horrible headache late afternoon/early evening which made me feel a bit sicky also felt quite dizzy. Who knows whats going on 😵.

1990EM · 25/05/2020 21:52

I keep obsessing over the stories of those who got pregnant straight after a miscarriage and I know I should probably not set myself up for disappointment but i cant help it 🙈

SmileyT · 25/05/2020 22:06

@2020wish really hope you get some answers tomorrow x

@Nannon145 @Saim86 sorry that you both find yourself here, be really kind to yourselves and be patient with your body. It's good that you are both ready to ttc again and I hope it won't be long before you both have your rainbows x

@HE88 how you're feeling doesn't sound like fun at all, have you been drinking loads? I had a headache this afternoon and was thinking it might be because it's hot and I hadn't drunk enough. Hope you're feeling better tomorrow x

@1990EM I think this is completely natural I was so convinced that I'd be pregnant again straight away, we weren't even trying when I fell pregnant so thought if i tracked it would be guaranteed 🙈 I think it's good to be positive but also to remember that there is a 25% chance of conceiving even if you do everything right, hope you are one of the lucky ones that gets their BFP before they have to see another period though 🌈

HE88 · 25/05/2020 22:13

@SmileyT I've probably not drank a lot but I'm not a big drinker really. I'm just a bit worried that these pains might be endo related. Xx

Saim86 · 25/05/2020 22:19

@1990EM hopefully praying for us all and our rainbows 🌈 🙏🏻

@HE88 thank you 😊

Saim86 · 25/05/2020 22:23

@SmileyT thank you for the kind words having pregnant women around you and in the family can make it all the more painful 🥺 hopefully our rainbows will come soon.

HE88 · 25/05/2020 22:26

@Saim86 I'm with you with the pregnant family members it's not nice so I feel your pain. Xx

Nannon145 · 25/05/2020 22:41

@1990EM My miscarriage happened over a couple of weeks from 29th April till 12th May. On and off bleeding but for the last 3 days I bled a lot. I got a negative pregnancy test on 13th May and I have had really faint OPKs and then got the positive one. Is it possible to get light ones then suddenly a dark one then light again because of previous pregnancy hormones?

Thank you everyone for your replies and thanks for being so welcoming. It's nice to know I'm not alone!

Saim86 · 25/05/2020 23:51

@HE88 it absolutely keeps making the pain raw 4 of my friends 2 close family and my sister in law and a school mum friend are all due in and around my due date one of my very close friends has given birth on 18 may I got chosen as godmother

Saim86 · 25/05/2020 23:57

@Nannon145 so sorry for your loss your rainbow will be here soon......our dates are so similar our angel girl was born on 20th April bleeding lasted around 2 weeks and stopped and over last few days I have noticed a bloody discharge which I put down to the uti I have developed but I have properly started today our hospital wasn’t very helpful and gave us no aftercare so I’m not sure what’s happening

1990EM · 25/05/2020 23:58

@Nannon145 if you got a negative pregnancy test 2 weeks ago then it definitely sounds more like the positive opks are for real .. thats so good if youre ovulating so soon 🙌 I'm sure you just wish the bleeding would stop though! I started miscarrying on the 11th May and after 6 days the bleeding had stopped altogether. Strange how it is different for everyone...

1990EM · 26/05/2020 00:01

Thanks @SmileyT and @Saim86 you girls on here are honestly all so kind and helpful 😭
