TTC after MC - June 2020

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@Dipsy77 I'm exactly the same I try to tell myself my body has done this before but then I remember I have no patience so order anything that may hurry things along 😂

@elliew818 welcome and I get what you mean about people understanding even though you don't want others to have been through it. It's actually comforting to know you went on to have a healthy baby after your first MC so thanks for sharing. Also it's really easy to get caught up on here but it's your TTC journey so don't feel like you should be doing more or less just do what feels right for you and DP. You've got pregnant 3 times before so you definitely know how to do it.. here's hoping for a healthy bean for you in June x

@SmileyT same here, my middle of the night Amazon/ebay searches are borderline crazy but if it helps to shorten the wait it feels worth it.. also despite having 2 healthy full term pregnancies my MC has made me feel that I'm incapable of carrying a baby now which doesnt help the impulse buying of ALL the supplements☹

@SmileyT I ordered some of that CoQ10 on amazon yday. It's supposed to help with releasing healthy eggs , I got one off amazon called ubiquinol and it also has omega 3 in it too. Also won a bid on an ava bracelet on Ebay today so hopefully that will come in the next week or so . Like you say I'm probs throwing money at stuff and like others have said I got pg last time just on pre natal vitamins and using conceive plus lube but cant help want to try everything I can xx
Sorry to those who have had AF arrive, I'm on CD 2 and feeling down about it all still, hopefully I'll perk up when get puppy next week and go into my fertile window x x

I don’t actually know anyone who has gone through a loss - which is a good thing! But it’s nice to talk to people who truly understand what you’re going through.
We have friends who are currently on hold for IVF who have been trying for years so we do feel very lucky we have got pregnant 3 times and having our little boy is helping this time round.

@renna I think a puppy will 100% perk you up!

@Renna if it makes you feel better - I just spent a shed losd on amazing getting supplements etc for next month!! I have been so skint since the move too that I felt really guilty - but hubby said it’s worth it if it helps us get what we want! I got the coenzyme q10, calc fluor, seven seas trying for a baby - I nearly got (but didn’t get) hubby some trying to conceive vits - but the q10 one apparently is good for male fertility too - figured he could take those lol! I still have some pre-seed left thankfully!!

@1990em It’s definitely AF now, but still not particularly heavy for what I’m used too. I think I was perhaps being a little too optimistic thinking I would be back to my pre-mc cycles as it’s now the 4th cycle post mc. Bodies are so complex!!

@bellabubble not just me then :) yeah I read that about CoQ10 for men , I have OH on fertilaid starting first time this cycle . He is 10 years older than me, I'm 28, so I'm like we best give your swimmers a boost as you never know lol . But willing to give my eggs /body any boost I can give it too xx

@renna my oh is 30 - I’m 36 though - so figured I’d do most stuff for me first lol, as he is still feeling to young to thibk he needs anything (although he has offered to take the q10’s especially as it has a lot of other health benefits 😂) the silly thing is, I know I can conceive as it happened in Jan - it’s probably just my desperation to fall pg again that is causing stress or something (although I don’t feel stressed!) I’m the same though - anything to give my bost a boost has got to be good! xx

@1990EM yes I agree just buying anything I think might help, doesn't help that if I mention anything in passing to DP he'll go straight online and buy it before I've even read into it properly 🤣 I've never carried a baby to term so it's definitely something I worry about but then I think to myself I have no evidence that this is true so try to shake my head out of it x

@Renna ooh that's exciting about the Ava, when will your cup arrive?... I used mine again yesterday and honestly it's a game changer there is just no mess and I love that. I really feel like this should be our month 🤞

CD9 for me - 1st CB test showed blank ⭕️ as expected but feeling positive.
How is everyone else doing?

@SmileyT a but off topic (well kinda not I suppose!) I swapped to period pants last year (love them), but wondered what a cup was like - I was considering using them both together. I haven’t had a heavy enough flow on a work day to need to change the pants yet at school - but if I did, it’s a bit of a faff and probably less discreet. Is it literally a case of take out and rinse?

Hi ladies I’ve done another cheapie test today and can see a very very faint line, I’m 9/10 dpo, but the test does seem a bit off with the dye? I’ve done another one with a different urine sample and it’s a definite negative. What do you think?

I’ve changed the contrast just to make it more clear, is it invalid because of the dye at the top?

Ahh @renna did u get an ava too!! :) good luck with it this cycle and hopefully u dnt even need it like me but it might bring u some luck just ordering it :) and making u feel like ur doing all u can and relax even more, even though i feel like ur quite relaxed anyway x x happy upcoming puppy week x

@Bellabubble I didn't make the cup work this first month tbh I couldn't get the L size to work without leaks (think it was too big) but by the time the s arrived my period was so light I couldn't tell if it would've leaked. Maybe I should look at period pants and I could double up 🤔 I think once you get the hang of it it'd be easy I just didn't get a chance to practice this time as small size arrived in the evening of day 3 so was pretty much done.

@Sallyjo27 yeah I definitely wouldn't trust the ic with all that dye have you got another test to try with fmu tomorrow? X

@SmileyT cup will arrive Tuesday:) my fertile period starts Thursday so if we DTD before will have a little practice:) sure you will start seeing your flashing /static soon xx you doing cheapies too ? Xx my AF was really heavy for like 2 days now pretty much stopped. I normally have pretty short periods tbf just hope the fact it was heavier was a good thing xx

Honestly I'm not feeling lucky and still feeling deflated, I was optimistic and chilled last cycle..this time I just feel like am I going to waiting months and months 😓 but I am gonna try throw everything at it this month 🤞 xx

Nipped to Asda and got a test couldn’t wait haha BFP AF due in two days so praying it sticks 🤞🏽

@Renna yeah I always think it's good to have a nice full period and apparently short and sharp is the best as shows hormones are doing what they should. Yeah you're not far behind me and we are definitely doing everything we can, can't ask for more than that xx
