TTC after MC - June 2020

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

Having a really weird day today as it’s last day of AF and the prospect of TTC is becoming real. Think I’ve been oddly settled in the knowledge I’m not pregnant because there’s no limbo...the TWW is going to be horrendous with the uncertainty and it’s making me anxious already. Think I’m going to do a face mask and have some chocolate to try and chill out about it all!

@elliew818 this sounds like a good plan for tonight... I've also found meditation really helpful for staying positive throughout this journey, the ones I use on YouTube are less than 15minutes and have different ones for each week of cycle and just chill me out a bit (and I'm not a meditation kinda gal at all normally) x

Sounds like a great plan @elliew818 think I'm going to have a glass of wine I didn't have a drop of alcohol all last cycle thinking it would help but I've decided that I still need to live my life! Xx

Hi all, jumping over from the May and April thread although have been TTC for a while now since MC. AF arrived yesterday CD29 which was a couple of days earlier than my usual 31/32 days so was getting my hopes up that it was implantation bleeding. Oh well will dust myself off and start fresh for this new cycle. Fingers crossed for everyone on this thread 🤞x

@SmileyT I was looking at the cups on line a while aho and found the sizes so confusing- and there’s only 2 sizes I think lol! One shop I was looking at said L for post children and above a certain age (which I was, although I can’t remember what the age was) but my hubby and I (tmi about to be shared!) have always jokes I’m a skinny mini down there 😂 so I gave up thinking about one until post children as I was thinking I’d definitely be a large after that! I think I forgot to reply to you message on Sat too - AF did leave it a few hours then she made here existence well and truly known!! I didn’t have any cramps or anything this time though - so I’m thinking that’s a bit more like pre-mc AF at least :)

@Bellabubble yeah DP joked that I shouldn't throw away the L as I'll need that after I give birth, if I'm lucky enough to get that far then I won't care about any of that anyway 🙈 but at the moment neither size really wants to fully open inside but might just need more practice x

Thank you really needing it right now. So deflated I almost feel like giving up. I think this cycle I might not track anything and get let if happen if it happens but DTD when we feel like it ... a relaxed approach but still feel like I need some investigating done

@2020wish yeah maybe a more relaxed approach will help this month... as awful as it feels now it's a good thing that you caught the CP so you know the sperm is meeting the egg and you can get some investigations. Take some time but here if you need to talk x

I'm on my 2nd Mc back to back. Seems trying to stay pregnant is my issue rather than actually getting pregnant. Wishing everyone good luck this month.
Has anyone been told they have a thin uterine lining

You see for your 1st 2 Mc did you go to epu if so were you giving any paperwork from the scan

I know. I don’t think getting pregnant is my issue but it’s staying pregnant :(

I noticed you said you were told you have thin uterus lining did they say anything else about this.

@DBTJ not sure if ur referring to me but none of my mc where scanned by the epu. In fact they couldn’t of cared less. I paid for a private scan with my second to have to confirmed and they gave me paperwork. I was told in the scan that my uterus seemed healthy and no issues. I’ve been told by epu if I have another mc they would investigate.. now I have so going to ring them back tomorrow

@2020wish I was wondering if you had any paperwork. Really sad that they did not scan you and you had to go private. Funny enough I was not actually told there was a problem with my uterus. It was an indirect comment that the sonographer said to the other nurse that i picked up. So I kind of went detective looking at my previous scan notes and noticed it was the same.

@2020wish my actual comment about the uterine lining was for @HE88.
However I also had another comment for you lol I really should start putting names with my comments.

I have gone on to research and it is a big thing when it comes to MC. Even if you are having ivf they closely monitor it.

@dbtj @2020wish I’m so sorry for your losses ladies - they are never easy, and when you want something so much it aches all the more :( It was me that had a thin lining - but that was due to the miscarriage at the time I think! I stopped mc bleed at the end of Feb, but at the time epu had me booked in for a scan 2 weeks later as they don’t commit to saying the embryo hasn’t grown (I knew I was correct on my dates so when they said they could see what you’d expect at 5weeks and I was meant to be 9 I knew what was going to happen). I kept my 2 week scan, as I knew if I phoned up they’d tell me I wouldn’t need to go in so I kept quiet. It was at the second scan they said everything was clear, and I said I felt like my body was getting ready for ovulation again (I didn’t tell them about cm and stuff, just that I had a feeling) and they told me then my lining was like it would be just after you have had your period, so about 1-2mm thick..but this was 2 weeks after my mc. I have tried every cycle since doing smep with no luck, but af is getting heavier so I think as I’m 36 my body is taking longer to adjust. I’m now taking co q10 to help with egg quality (being older I probably need a helping hand, and because it takes 90days for the eggs to mature - so technically, my last 3 eggs would have been ones maturing whilst I was pregnant, so thry might not have been as good quality!) and I have calc fuor ready to go for the tww. There’s a really good anerican fertility lady on youtube who talks about womb/egg/implantation prep etc, she has really good tips that I have started putting into place this month to see if it helps

I might go private to get a fertily scan and bloods as I dunno if I can continue like this :( the bleeding that started today when more brown blood tinged in ewcm when wiping. And now it’s stopped :( my af has never started like this and my previous 2 mc started with bright red blood so dunno what to think. My manual tests are faint and haven’t progressed from 11dpo and digitals are negative after they showed a positive on Friday so I just wish my body would let me know what’s going on
