TTC after MC - June 2020

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

In May I had a MMC with my 1st pregnancy, they were twins which shared the same sac, at my 10 week private scan they only measured 8.5 weeks and couldn't find either heartbeats. Although I'm hurting all I can think about is trying again
So sad to hear your stories I hope you all have some BFPs soon

Ah @Dipsy77, I've been wondering how you've got on this weekend. Af hasn't showed for me yet. But having been a week 'late' in my first two cycles post mc (in Feb) I'm thinking it's still just delayed. Which is torment as I'm wondering when my regular 29 day cycles are going to return. I'm on CD32 now.
Good that you have the confirmation of af though, and you can try again this month. Fingers tightly crossed for you.

Thank you all for your lovely messages. I’m so sorry that you too have experienced loss. It really is the worst.

I’m so frightened about trying again but I know if I don’t do it now, I never will. This is a fear that won’t ever leave and I’m 38 soon so feel like time is ticking on.

I’m going to test next Friday, I’ve stocked up on tests but doubt I’ll be that lucky. When I found out I was pregnant in December it was only our 2nd month of trying so I felt extremely blessed (and shocked). I had horrendous hyperemesis too and spent many of the early days saying ‘I could never do this again!’ But here I am... praying for a happy ending.

@VP91x yeah it was a little tough. Luckily as I said she was great and didn’t talk about it too much. My mum just text me saying I did really well and she’s really proud, so I’m glad I didn’t give any sadness away. I’m looking forward to getting cracking on the OPKs. I have a small hangover today which I feel like a bit of a fool for 🙄. I’ve cut alcohol right down so now it doesn’t take much.

Joining you guys on this thread. I had a CP early April followed by a MC mid May and now 4dpo. It has been traumatic and this cycle has been absolutely psychotic. Last cycle it was easy enough to track my ovulation through a combination of app/ic opk and cbd opk. This cycle has been a mess, it felt like I knew nothing about my body at all. O was late and difficult to pin point. Here goes the tww.

@Meomeomeo welcome ! I'm sorry for your lost. I'm also going crazy with understanding my cycle now. I had a MC in May too but earlier one than last MC in March so my HCG went down to O level much faster. My cycle between MCs was also weird with ovulation on 10CD . So I was not sure what to expect from first cycle after this MC. I'm on 14CD and now I see darker lines so I think I'm almost there. I'm happy for you to be already in your tww. I hope to join soon ! @SmileyT yeah that's kind of how I feel! If it's going to be negative I want to know asap and that will at least reduce the tension while I wait for AF. I'm one of those people who just wants facts. I think I will test on Friday. Eeek.. hope you will lead the way for BFPs this month!

@VP91x last time I don't recall having any symptoms. I didn't think I was pregnant around this stage as we weren't even trying and did it only once that whole month as we were moving. I only tested because AF was A DAY late - can you believe??!! Now I'm here sideways dancing as much as possible and no luck yet! It's crazy how these things work! How far in the cycle are you again? I'm sure I read it but have read so many other messages since 😭💕

Thanks so much ladies. It’s great to say these things outloud to people who understand. I started cbd opk from cd9 (my hcg had gone to 0 prior) - thinking just in case ovulation is early and I had absolutely nothing. Blank circle for 10 days then I ran out of sticks 🤦‍♀️. By this point it had gone past my normal o date. IC were clear negative too. No signs of any o at all. It turned out that I o late this cycle, even then I can’t pin point to just 1 day even when Natural Cycles confirmed o was last Thursday. It’s been exhausting temping, opk, watching my body like a hawk and every so often thinking what if the MC didn’t happen. It also didn’t help that despite me cancelling appointments with NhS, I still received phone call/ letter. Here’s to the tww.

@Niisa sideways dancing, haha😂! I know I was thinking back to my two pregnancies and I am pretty sure I tested because I thought I was about a day late or so. Crazy isn't it? And now here I am counting down the hours.

I'm on CD9 now, should be in FW towards the end of the week I think. Started testing today, my cycles are definitely still settling so anything could happen! Xx

Update, af just got me. Bitter sweet. Gutted but relieved to see that my cycle was shorter than the last two which suggests they are settling. Had a nice 14 day LP too going by positive OPK.
Going to use cheapie opk's alongside my cb digital from last month.
Can any Ava experts tell me if they are suitable for temping with an irregular sleep pattern?

@Niisa well having some symptoms is a good thing and yeah you'll definitely be able to get a line by 14dpo, crazy your app thinks you'll have a 19day luteal phase 🤯

@VP91x I think my body has decided that because I said I'd be happy to wait until August that's when im going to fall, although this is complete superstition and based on no facts 😂 glad you're feeling positive, you're not doing CB this month are you? x

Well, I wasn't going to but some arrived yesterday evening forgot I had done the subscription thing. So, I'll use them. Hopefully I conquer the static smiley this month so I can stick my fingers up to it for annoying me the last two cycles 🖕 😂
My temp was SO low this morning 35.76 no where near post-OV temps haha xx

Hi All, Little up, Scan was great (hubby had to wait in car 😔) but all went well and thats the main thing. Im exactly 6 weeks tomorrow which is exactly what natural cycles has said 💙🌈💖xx
