SmileyT · 21/05/2020 19:55

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@MichT4 yep those are the ones I have, I actually find them quite enjoyable but I have been trying to reduce sugar so maybe my body is just holding onto that little bit of taste 😂

@2020wish thanks, it was concerning because the IBS came on quite suddenly when I was out walking and had to march home pretty sharpish!
@ManchNic I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been through. I have a 19month old DS so I can’t begin to imagine, you must be one very strong lady.
@VP91x well I’ve only just downloaded it, think it’s similar to other tracking apps, I’ve only got the free version but seems so far so good. Hoping it was definitely the peak but will POAS and DTD again tonight just to be sure!
@HE88 I’m a day behind you cycle wise - plus my wedding anniversary is today so a day before you too, happy anniversary! When will you be testing this month?
@Hayleylou89 glad you got your meeting/ scan sorted, I think everyone on here will be having fingers and toes crossed for you.

MichT4 · 03/06/2020 19:57

@elliew818 I have been using glow and it’s pretty good I think. Not that I know much about the apps, but I like it so far.

Good to think you have ovulation pains, would love to feel it so I knew it was happening.

And Happy Anniversary 💕 xx

HE88 · 03/06/2020 19:58

@MichT4 these are the ones I have too. Xx

@elliew818 happy anniversary to you, a cycle buddy 😀. I never really plan when to test tbh I've had so much disappointment over the last couple of years I tell myself just to hold out to see if af comes. What about you when do you plan to test? Xx

elliew818 · 03/06/2020 20:47

@MichT4 yeah it’s ruined the mood a bit for DTD though, feels like someone has kicked me in the vagina lol
@HE88 I am the same I find seeing a BFN even worse than AF so I’ll hold off until 19th I think. Which coincidentally is the date of my first MC in 2017 so will test FMU before going to the cemetery if AF hasn’t already arrived!

MummyMilla · 03/06/2020 20:59

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Just ordered my pre seed and husband is bracing himself for next week 😂

My MC only started last Friday so I'm CD5 I think. It was a really short period/MC and only two days of full bleeding. But I've tested and defo not pg.

Actually feeling quite excited! Really want to conceive quickly (don't we all!) just because I'll be 40 in Jan and my eldest in 10 in May, so would like another born before his birthday if possible!

That being said, I'd just like a healthy pregnancy. 😊

HE88 · 03/06/2020 21:18

@elliew818 same here I hate the bfns. Fingers crossed for you that you get your bfp xx

Tink20058 · 03/06/2020 21:27

HopeForRainbowbaby · 03/06/2020 21:41

@2020wish im so sorry regarding the call. They should keep better admin there.

You don't need a r
Actually my post MC check up was mine ( what it supposed to be ) 11or 12 weeks pregnancy appointment... I am waiting for check up post MC 2.

I'm also postponing exercising😂I squeeze few squads in daily routine... but I really need to take care of the fatness 🤨

Hayleylou89 · 03/06/2020 21:50

@elliew818 thank u lovely! it means alot and i will be keeping everything crossed for all u girls too! Just want to turn this rubbish lockdown year into something positive for u all x

HopeForRainbowbaby · 03/06/2020 21:52

@2020wish how is testing going ? I think I see some darkening of second line on my ovs but it could be also just my mind wanting to see ovulation approaching 😅

@MummyMilla warm welcome ! Im sorry regarding your losses:( what I learn from ladies here is not to give up on ttc. I also heard a story today of older acquaintance who had two MCS before having 2 kids and her daughter had also 2 MCs followed by having several kids. She also made a comment that women do not share their stories or disclose that they had MCs ( especially like 40 years ago). But it is very encouraging to have this wonderful support group as well as hearing that both ladies went to have successful pregnancies after miscarriages.

@elliew818 good luck tomorrow ! It sounds like a perfect opportunity to expand your family on this special day ❤️ and I and DH have been also drinking plum juice ( and grapefruit juice is on the way).

ManchNic · 03/06/2020 22:15

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Yes losing Henry and living without him was and is absolute agony. We just assumed that once we started trying again we would be able to have another baby, but the pregnancy losses have just added extra pain and worry.

I am really trying to be more positive and more relaxed this time around, but I just want it to happen so much!

@HE88 @elliew818 that's so strange, yesterday was CD17 for me & also my wedding anniversary, must be a popular time of year!

ManchNic · 03/06/2020 22:21

@MummyMilla I'm going to be 40 in August and really feeling the pressure of my age too! But like you also have slightly given up on time & just wishing for a healthy pregnancy x

HE88 · 03/06/2020 22:36

@ManchNic happy anniversary to you it looks like it is a popular time of year! Hope you get your bfp soon xx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 03/06/2020 22:39

@ManchNic also warm welcome to you! Thank you sharing your story and I'm sorry for your losses.

2020wish · 03/06/2020 22:59

Thanks everyone for the replies :)

@Hayleylou89 yes I’m hoping it does work fingers crossed. I just wish we knew about it before lol

@HopeForRainbowbaby tests were faint today but ordered more stick so gonna test three times a day as my cycles are all over the place with the losses

IndieMorg · 03/06/2020 23:46

Hi all, can I come and join you too?

I had a natural miscarriage at just before 6 weeks which started on the 21st May (Thurs) and the bleeding stopped on the Sunday. We had been trying since Jan so not a huge amount of time but every day feels like an eternity when you're TTC doesn't it 😣. This was the first pregnancy for both of us

Totally feel the same as you ladies with others announcing their pregnancies, it's so hard! One neighbour is due next week and the other just announced she's pregnant with twins 😔. You just wonder what's wrong with you but my husband reminds me that miscarriages often aren't announced in public like births but it doesn't mean they don't happen to other people too

I've just started tracking ovulation for the first time ever in the hope that we will catch quickly (nothing so but but only tested the last 3 days. I feel like I had ovulation symptoms last week but that would have been days after the MC finished so it seems too soon. Probably hormones playing tricks)

Xx

MichT4 · 04/06/2020 08:09

Good morning girls, and welcome to the group @IndieMorg. As with everyone, sorry you are here with us but I’m sure you’ll find comfort here 😌

I’ve been wearing my Ava for maybe a week now and I’m making no sense of my data 😂. Maybe it’ll make sense once it’s logged a full cycle, but let’s hope it’s all a waste of money and data by then 🤞🏼

How is everyone this morning? Where are you girls getting hcg for the boys from? Xxx

VP91x · 04/06/2020 08:47

@IndieMorg welcome to the group, sorry you are going through a MC right now 😔

I hope you detect ovulation soon and you have a new chance at TTC xx

@MichT4 does it not do your body temp etc?

CD5 hopefully coming towards the end of AF now! Xx

Jazper · 04/06/2020 09:09

Well ladies, I caved this morning and took at test at 11dpo. Negative 😔 I know it's early but I'm going to hold out for af now which, going by last month, could be a week late if my cycles are still irregular.

Welcome to the new ladies and I'm sorry you find yourselves here but equally, it's a lovely supportive place to be. Xx

MichT4 · 04/06/2020 09:21

@VP91x yes it does, it’s skin temp so I think will always be higher than the thermometers, but should show the same trend. I’d never get up and remember to temp.

It just seems so varied, my temp and rhr looks to have no real trend. But like I said I think once it has a few more days, and hopefully post ovulation, it’ll start to not look so erratic 🤞🏼

@Jazper sorry you had a negative result. Still early though, might not have implanted yet! xx

VP91x · 04/06/2020 09:33

@MichT4 oh that's handy. Yeah, mine can be a bit rocky but then post ovulation you should see a temp shift! My temps post ovulation were about 0.4 degrees higher than pre. Everyone is so different but you should see a rise of some sort 😊 xx

@Jazper ah shit, I'm sorry it was negative. But you're not out until AF arrives 🤞 hopefully if it is due to arrive it won't keep you waiting too long so that you can move onto next cycle if that's what happens xx

MummyMilla · 04/06/2020 09:43

@ManchNic hello! I am so sorry to read about your son, how utterly heartbreaking. And I can imagine how much harder your MCs must be.

I had a chat about age & eggs with a friend the other day who's an obs/gynae consultant (and fertility specialist) - useful mate! Anyway, he said that given I have had two healthy pg before and managed to get pg twice since, it's likely to just be down to abnormalities, which are obvs down to age. Apparently, 50% of pregnancies for over 40s end in MC, so I guess that what we're up against. His advice was just to take all the right supplements, look after our bodies and keep on trying.

I'm not sure about you but we've decided against IVF but that obviously an option if things don't happen on their own.

WellHurrahAndHuzzah · 04/06/2020 10:59

Hello everyone, welcome to newbies and I'm sorry for your losses.

@Jazper I knew we were roughly on the same cycle so I was sad to see your news this morning. BUT you're not out until AF arrives.... I have given up testing early as I bitterly remember the feeling of getting those negatives. Look after yourself today.

Prffffft I'm having a day of feeling sad and overwhelmed. Just cried to DH after I thought he was cross with me, turns out he wasn't at all and I'd misinterpreted it. I think the change in the weather has really impacted on my mood. Must remember how much the garden needs it Grin

@IndieMorg it's so frustrating when everyone around you seems to get pregnant at the drop of a hat, right? And then have such smooth and stress free pregnancies!! God damn them! Even my friend's cat is pregnant Shock

We're nearly at the weekend. Xx
