TTC after MC - June 2020

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

I was wondering why everyone was so quiet on the May group 😂 I totally forgot that there already was a June bus! I've missed hearing everyone's stories 😊

Yay! It's going to be fertile week for you soon😊 excited for us both for this month! Yup, I'm hoping AF shows up soon so I can get on with this month. Had a long chat with DH and we both decided to try and ease off the pressure this month. Last month was just intense for both of us 🙈

@Rainbowhope11 ah, lovely my partner has always wanted to visit Texas. I'm glad all is okay.

I'm going to do SMEP again this month, I'm hoping I ovulate a little earlier this month because CD21 was a long wait! Yeah, it really does become all consuming doesn't it! Xx

I'm also going to do SMEP again, I just hope I get a static smiley this month, or else I'm going to be dtd til the end of time 🤣 it will be the death of me 🤣 fingers crossed that we both ovulate at a reasonable point in our cycle!

@Rainbowhope11 😂😂 I felt like that last month. I'm not going to use the CB sticks this month and stick to the femometer strips because I got my peak on them clearly so should be okay hopefully 🤞

@Rainbowhope11 you made me laugh outloud with DTD till the end of the time 😂 indeed fingers crossed for ovulation this month and BFPs following that!

Doing the tests gives me some sort of comfort. I am also glad to see that my body is getting back to rhythm after MCs. I dont think I ovulated directly after First MC because my HCG stayed for around 4-5 weeks after. this time my body recuperated faster l( due to earlier MC than first one ), so I expect ovulation in time. What is your experience ladies ? When did you ovulate after MC?

@Hayleylou89 hey babe glad your bloods are looking good xx didnt get my static yday and cheapies didnt get darker .. so I'm thinking my cycles are going back to how they were pre PG/MC and may see a peak later tonight or tomorrow as my AF came a day later this cycle which is more in keeping with cycles before I was PG and so I guess ovulation will happen a day or so later too :) although I wanted to see the peak as I'm impatient I'm seeing it as a good thing that my cycles looking like they're going back to what they were before where I'd have like a 28 day cycle and I'd get peak on CD14.. which it was the month I got PG in december. So 🤞 it's a good thing:) doing cheapies throughout today to see when line gets darker, but got my 3rd flashing smiley today so going in right direction .
I'm doing temping but with the puppy my sleep pattern all over the place and the app has decided I already ovulated on CD8 based on temp rise lol .. which I know deffo isnt the case but maybe once I get the peak lines and put that in the app itll update but with my sleeping pattern etc being all over the place I cant rely on it much this month lol.. wearing the ava but itll probably be the same issue as the ava doesnt have previous data to go on either.. but gonna carry on with it all so I have the data there .
Used fert illy last night for 2nd time after DTD and think I got the knack 👌 lol
I went chiropractor yday they manipulated my back said I have issues with sacroilliac joint , almost complete instant relief after the treatment he gave me at the time so that's reassured me the pain isnt from kidneys /gynae 🤞🤞

The little girl we lost we named her Bonnie and i adore that name so so much

So weve found it so hard choosing anything we like as much Bonnie, but so far weve got Mylie (girl) and Codie (Boy)

Reason for the IE ending is my step kids either end in IE or Y so it needs to flow nicely with their names too i think ... any other ideas let me know but im sure iv searched every name going when i was last pregnant with Bonnie 🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

TMI but the 2 days we DTD this weekend, I had ewcm and I've never noticed it in my life! The things you learn while ttc! 😂 We also DTD last night - according to my app it was the day after ovulation so fx! I woke up this morning with ewcm again and the texture was DEFINITELY not egg white yesterday! Weird but I'm hopeful for this month!!!

@Hayleylou89 of course! And you will have a healthy, successful pregnancy & delivery - I'm speaking it into existence and praying for it too! Such beautiful names!

@Niisa I know what you mean! I didn’t know what EWCM was until I saw it last month 😂

Also, I had my first glass of grapefruit juice today 🤨. The things we do! I don’t even really think I need it because CM isn’t a real issue for me, but here I am, drinking things I don’t like....😂😂. If it works, it’ll be my favourite drink for life

Will this be your second pregnancy? I'm sure you've mentioned it but I'm forever mixing peoples stories up!

@Niisa second including the MC, the MC was my first pregnancy. We were very relaxed first time, not really trying but not trying not to, if that makes sense. I’d come off the pill and we made that decision on the basis we would be happy whenever it happened. The MC made us realise how much we wanted it. So now trying to still be relaxed (as if) but with more of an idea of when the fertile week is etc.

Problem is, I like to feel in control of a situation so the ‘more of an idea’ for me has meant a load of supplements, Ava and now grapefruit juice 🙄

I still claim I’m relaxed.... 🤥

The ferti lily is fab isnt it, literally only used mine 2 out of the 4 times we did it in the fertile window as i ordered it a little late ... well no ovulation came a week earlier than expected didnt it 🤦🏽‍♀️... got a good feelin this month is ur month... u cnt do no more and i think the dog will have taken ur mind away from it all too!

Iv just gone and realised iv got a meeting next week that clashes with my scan time 🙄... trying to get a new time now but hope they dont totally change the day 🙏 xx

@MichT4 I feel like you're talking about me! Fell pregnant in Jan - we weren't trying nor preventing, just had a "what will be, will be" attitude. Found out at my 12 week scan in mid-March that I'd had an MMC and there was no growth since week 7 and no heartbeat.

Since then I've been desperate to be a Mum! I have a 5 year old stepson but it isn't the same XX

@Niisa we do have similar stories! It’s annoying you can’t get that ‘what will be’ attitude back. Obviously lockdown doesn’t help, but I don’t like wishing days away - it didn’t feel like that then. I just got to a point where I felt different and took a test. Now it’s like clock watching 🙄
I stopped my pill in November so it happened pretty quick given I wasn’t tracking anything. I think that’s making it harder too because with that and people saying you’re more fertile after a MC, I’m expecting it. And it’s not happening 😤

I’m keen to try and wait to test each month but it’s easier said than done xx

Hey ladies. Sorry been on and off. Was dealing with more emotions than I thought I had lol so spent the time off my phone and forcing myself out of the house lol blood results came back. Well the two main ones I was waiting on didn’t get analysed for some reason so I have to go back tomorrow but the rest came back normal (thyroid being one) hahaha bit gutted at that I had convinced myself I was getting fat due to an under active thyroid and would get some miracle pill to help get back to skinny but no I’m just fat 😂 so diet over haul it is. The clotting and inflammation bloods I’ve to return for.

Back in the fertile window now and going to start testing LH Now and this month going to try low dose aspirin. @Hayleylou89 my partner got the hcg so we started that yesterday so fingers crossed this is my month

Got another phone call today from the maternity clinic for my 12 weeks booking appointment tomorrow for the loss I had in April. Can you believe I rang them Monday after getting a text about the appointment and two weeks ago after I got the letter to inform them of my miscarriage? Lol

Hi ladies, I’ve been trying to keep up but haven’t had a chance to reply! I decided to download Glow and use OPKs this month after getting my first AF even though I was going to try and be relaxed about it 🙄 I think I got my peak yesterday at CD 14 and today I have got quite bad cramps, some IBS symptoms (sorry TMI 😳) and feels quite tender down there too. I’m guessing this is ovulation pain but I’ve not experienced it before like this - have any of you ladies had this post-MC or just in general?

I'm doing okay! Trying to take a breather and be more relaxed. Last month I was just obsessed about trying to conceive and it's done nothing good for my state of mind. I'm on CD29 now, no sign of my period, but no sign of pregnancy either. I have two apps telling me two different testing dates and due dates for AF, so it's just confusing me. I've used up all my hpts of course 😂so I'm just planning on waiting for AF to arrive. My bbt is confusing me, today I've gotten an increase in temp at 14/15 dpo. I've also been having spots of ewcm and thin milky cm. Just not sure what's going on with me so I've joined the June bus because I don't know what to make of all this.

Hello, please can I join? I've just had my second MC at 5/6 weeks. I had another fairly traumatic one in March at 9 weeks - blood transfusions, the whole shebang! So I've managed two MC in lockdown.

I've got 2 DSs already who are 9 and nearly 7. We ummed and ahhed for years about a third. Took over a year to get pg with the one that didn't stick in March (having reconciled we wouldn't get pg again) and having got pg again so quickly, we've now decided we've got one last go! I am 39.

I'm taking some mega vits that an osteo friend recommended and have just ordered some cb ov sticks and that cup thing! In ten days time things are going to go crazy around here, ha ha!

Any other tips would be hugely appreciated x

@elliew818 it sounds like ovulation pains to me. Mine can be quite sore some months. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you

@Rainbowhope11 yes she couldn’t apologise enough on the phone but it’s just annoying lol ohhh that all sounds positive!! When are the apps telling you AF is due ? Can you get some tests on amazon for next day delivery? How exciting!

Welcome @MummyMilla sorry to hear about ur loses and fingers crossed this month for you. It’s been so hard having mcs during lock down? I’ve had three and the emotions have just knocked me down. But coming into my fertile window again and ready to have my sticky bean. What cycle day are you now? Only other suggestion I can offer you would be pre seed?
