TTC after MC - June 2020

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@SmileyT @VP91x yeahh probs got mixed up ..weird though as they packed it like they were a pro seller or something like with a little sticker on the inside packaging ... like gone to effort lol if I sold it I'd just pack it a basic in a box 😂. I've messaged them so have to wait and see ... see if the person who has received an ava for the price of a fertility monitor will be returning to the seller lol ! So so frustrating... have to not let it annoy me and not stress 🙄 ...
I like to stress myself out ... just found out passed the assessment of a promotion I applied for and have an interview next week... didnt actually think itd get any where .. stress streesss.. I need more meditation xx

... also ... CD8 today... ovulation due 5 days time... tried the fert illy for the first time... have it in right now. Just about got it in, I nearly gave up. Haven't practiced with it. But just put it in after DTD think more stuff came out than pushed up ... it wouldnt go in right position and I had to take it out couple times , I nearly took it out but thought now the time to practice before peak .. managed to get it in with maneuvering. Any one got a 'nack' ? Lol ... I cant feel it now it's in... but feel like its pointless as a lot if it came out when I had to pull it out couple times xx

@Renna oh I thought you'd bought both!! I didn't realise they'd sent you the wrong thing. How annoying! Hope it gets sorted quickly.

Congrats on getting the interview for the promotion!! I'm sure you'll smash it 🤞🤞

So what I did with the ferti-lily was turn it inside out and put both my fingers in it to like properly push it up as far as I could and then I tugged on it so it goes back to its cup position xx

@Renna that’s annoying hopefully she gets u sorted quickly. I put mine in like @VP91x

@2020wish indeed just one day difference! It will be nice to support each other! Cycle buddy. I'm already waiting anxiously for bleeding to be over but I'm trying somehow not to think about it.

Ladies, Any good ideas on how to pass the time faster and relax in the meantime?
Also, are you ladies enjoying some date time during the lockdown ?

@HopeForRainbowbaby yes would be good :) here’s to this being our month :) honestly I’ve just been cleaning and doing bits and pieces to the house while I’ve been off, my partner works nearly everyday so I’m on my own most of the time m. My daughter is at that age she goes about and does her own thing lol so I’m not much help on passing the time lol

The ferti lily wasnt the best first time round for me as it leaked out but see if the hubby will push it up and pull it slowly once its in position ... it worked for me and iv got a good feeling this is ur month it seems to be planning out like mine last cycle where the ava arrived after the bfp haha x

@Renna I do hope it's like hayley where you don't have to bother with the Ava as you get your BFP beforehand. No tips for the fertilily as I don't have that but your story did make me laugh 😂 I'm sure you'll smash the interview and means more money on Mat leave 👌🏾

@VP91x DP walked through the door from work after a 12hr shift and was like 'let's rectify last night right now' so 20hrs later than I'd hoped but I think I'll ovulate tonight so hopefully still covered. Can it be morning already so you can POAS x

@gwen7896 hiya xx welcome to the thread xx sorry for your losses hun xx tbh I've realised early testing isnt for me and would test when AF is late from now on so know how you feel but then on the other hand its kinda good to be aware if your had an early loss rather than thinking its AF as you can get help from a GP so maybe test on day AF due if shes not shown or something like that ?? Xx
@Hayleylou89 keep us posted with your bloods hun xx ugh I know I thought it was all going so well with the order ! Lol I've contacted the seller and no response as of yet and if they dont get back to me Ebay can get involved but have to wait 6 days 🙄 so hopefully I'll hear something soon xx
Out of curiosity what do those fertility monitors do which you cant just do on an advanced CB stick and app ...? Seems like it does the same to me but they're like 80 quid ... ?

Thanks for the fert illy tips ladies . I'll probably get it after more practice.. I may practice with just some lube .. I think I kinda like mentally panic a bit and think its gonna get stuck and I like close up down there haha .. it must have worked to an extent actually as when I took it out there was lots of his "stuff "there shall we say lol . DH lovingly referred to me as having my ... plug in ... 🙄 😂

Yeah you have to tug it a little bit so it pops back into its cup shape. Haha no it won't get stuck! I always ended up falling asleep with mine in. In the morning there was never much left in it. God knows where it all went 🤔😅😅 xx

Had bloods done today and results should be early next week and should hopefully get my scan date next week too and think that will be in about 2 weeks time x x

@hopeforrainbowbaby .. getting a puppy deffo keeping me occupied haha I'm bloody exhausted, surprised we managed DTD earlier we did it whilst she was sleeping In her crate lol ... before getting her I was really struggling to keep busy and was driving me mad so is a welcome distraction for sure. DH done me a tapas date night at home the other day 😁 you doing much to keep busy ? Xx

The ebay seller replied... see attached ... ( I live in westcliff on sea not westend on sea ..) and seems weird me posting something when I could end up not getting the ava bracelet sent to me ... hoping it's not a scam . So I've said if they live within a mile of me that I'd meet up with the other buyer and exchange tomorrow or something ... see what they say ... weird !
I've told DH I was getting an ava but he never asked me how much it cost... he just asked me now when I told him about this ... he was like how much !? Does this watch make dinner!? ... haha oops ... 😇 x

@Renna Ahh I went to see some fireworks randomly in west cliff on the beach as my aunt lives over there, can definitely see why you go for lovely 5.30am walks 🥰🥰 would be ideal if you could meet the buyer ( I guess if she is giving you her name and address there is no additional information you'd need) can talk TTC with her 😂 haha we need all the goods, I'm going into my TWW this weekend already looking at what I might buy for next month. I looked at the fertility monitors but only benefit is that it remembers your hormone levels from cycle to cycle I think.

@gwen7896 Hey, fellow PCOSer here! Feel your pain with the unpredictable ovulation/cycles! I'm CD 17 post miscarriage and no sign of ovulation yet as of this morning anyway ☹ am expecting to take a few weeks to regulate but was secretly hoping for ovulation this week!!

@SmileyT sounds like you have done loads and sometimes a night off DTD is good for both parties.. might improve sperm count for tonight 😉

I'm on cycle day 10, I'm taking preconception vitamin, started omega 3 today and will take calc fluor after ovulation. Started testing with ic opks today, my femometre apps and my fitbit app both say I'm due to ovulate on the 4th which is my wedding anniversary so I'm taking this a positive sign 😁.

@2020wish when I heard the news yesterday about my friend with the same due date it sent me into deep grieving again. Not just for the loss of our baby amd loss of shared experience with my friend but for the fact that every time I see my friend's child it will remind me of it. So sad.my reaction to the announcement was much more painful than I had anticipated 💗 hope you're ok!

I'm not taking anything currently other than folic acid and vitamin D. I took Agnus castus beforw my firat pregnancy but then gor pregnant again without it so i dont know what to do this time round. Maybe will try it next cycle. I can't stomach some of those other pregnancy multivitamins 🤢 never been good with tablets but some of those are next level! Made me so nauseous..

Sorry if this has been discussed already but for those who use internet cheapies in ovulation testing, when is the best time to use them? Once daily or twice a day? Morning and night?

@1990EM I'm wondering the same I did use them last cycle but along with cb opks. This cycle I'm just using ic opks I tested once today about 5pm. Xx

@1990EM yeah I normally test twice a day, sometimes x3 just cause I like to POAS. X
