spotting before AF - endometriosis?

I have seen something on another thread that worried me. It said that brown spotting before AF could mean endometriosis. I get this every time I have a period. I don't have any of the other symptoms. How normal is this spotting? Does anyone else have it? Am worried as am ttc and have had a number of mcs as well as one baby.

I never knew this Jezebel (great name) I too have brown "smudging" before my AF and every few months it would appear I have a horribly heavy period with loads of "bramble jelly" (sorry to bring it up again) and a dragging sensation for the whole period. I shall watch with interest (the thread I mean)

I have this too, but no other symptoms. Have had it since birth of ds2 (now have dd).

I have this every month. Normally starts around ovulation and gets progressively haevier as due date approaches. Also worse after exercise (can be red and brown on same day). Mentioned it to my GP and he suggested cervical erosion after having 3 children. Haven't been for a smear yet with him but am also becoming quite concerned if it could be something more sinister so will go this week and get checked out. No other symtoms but it's really getting me down.
