Over thinking ttc after mmc

Hi, I recently had my 1st pregnancy which ended with a MMC in March (9w3d baby stopped growing 7w3d). My cycle has always been regular (28 days) and returned after the MMC. I'm now on my 2nd cycle but period is 4 days late. I'm wondering if I could be pregnant again so soon or if my body just hasn't returned to it's normal cycle yet? I had very light spotting for 1 day, 2 weeks after last period but no pregnancy symptoms (previously I had nausea, sore boobs, tiredness + i just felt pregnant). I'm been silly I know, but can't bring myself to test just yet. We both want a baby so badly + I feel if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant again I will worry so much about everything now. I just wondered what are other people's experiences after MMC? How long did it take for cycle to return to normal and is it possible to be pregnant with no symptoms at all? Thanks in advance x

I'm so sorry for your loss. My first pregnancy also ended in mmc. I started bleeding by the time they confirmed it so I let it pass on its own. Bled for about 2 weeks then had my first period 4 weeks after it all stopped. We conceived the next cycle.

In terms of symptoms, my advice to you would be don't compare to first time and try avoid google. You will spend endless time over analysing every little one, comparing to previous time and wondering if a good day with no symptoms means something is wrong. Take a test when you are ready - I did not test until my period was a week late because I simply didn't want to see that I was and then overthink it all so preferred to assume I wasn't and continue as normal.

Good luck and I hope you have a healthy baby 💐
