Anyone conceived same month after coming off the pill?

Hey...

So I came off the POP pill two weeks ago in prep to TTC our second baby.

Obviously not had a bleed yet. But I've had some weird hormonal symptoms like when I thought I was pregnant with my first.

Yesterday and today brown spotting (once) but just wanted to see if anyone had conceived so soon after coming off the pill.

I'm guessing it's just my first period arriving soon but wanted to see as the symptoms are making me wonder!

Hi yes I conceived first month and had no period before hand (just the small bleed you get when you come off pill) I unfortunately mc at 9 weeks . You can be super fertile coming off pill apparently, good luck !

Conceived 15 days after last pill (stopped mid pack and had small bleed straight away) but mc at 7 weeks.

I did. Didnt have any bleeding at all either. Had no idea how many weeks I was until the scan

Following- I came off cerelle at the end of April and had a bleed (thinking withdrawal rather than AF) at beginning of May. We’ve been DTD at least every other day but don’t even know if I have/will ovulate before I have a natural period.

Yep. Every single time. 5 pregnancies (3 live births). I live in terror of missing a pill. I'm done wirh childbearing now so I'm terrified of my fertility. I wish I could donate it to someone who could use it

So I'm a bit confused - had cramps and thought AF would be showing (my first post coming off the POP period) for the last couple of days, but song with this really quite heavy creamy CM. Been a bit ratty too. And hungry. So all usual AF signs.
I just thought I'd of had her by now considering it almost a month since coming off the POP...

We DTD at least once a week since coming off the pill.

I did about 3 weeks after coming off POP. I'd not even had a period for like 10 years , no bleeding after stopping pill, got a few symptoms but I thought it was my body getting back to normal. Took a few tests but didn't get positive til about 5 weeks pregnant. I'm due in 3 weeks! It can happen

You might also just not be getting your period back yet - I'm CD 68 after withdrawal bleed with no period.

My mum got pregnant every time straight after coming off the pill (so withdrawal but no AF).

Thanks girls - I did a test (cheap blue dye from Sainsbury's) just now and it's was negative. It's hard to know. I guess I'll wait another week and see if AF shows! X

So update - still no show of AF. But my CM is really heavy and milky white like how I remember with my first baby. Nipples are tender. Last night had a sharp cramp really low down in my stomach.

If no AF by the weekend maybe I'll test again.

Had a negative the other day so I hoped AF would show so we can at least know etc..

I'm in a really similar position. Came off POP at the beginning of the month. No bleed at all yet. Spotted some ovulation type symptoms a couple of weeks later (last week) - EWCM and some twinges. And now I'm going mad symptom spotting! This is our first time TTC and my last AF was years ago so I don't know what's real and what's imaginary!

I also can't be sure when I ovulated (if I did) as I wasn't tracking anything - just noticed the EWCM and thought we may as well go for it! I've had some creamy CM this week so hope that's a good sign. But definitely too early to test.

Fingers crossed! And encouraging to read about all those who fell within the first month with no bleed.

See I don't remember having EWCM but I've been feeling like AF is coming, moods and the spotting but this last week nothing
Today I have been weeing lots more than usual and feel a fullness down low in my stomach which I think I remember feeling early days in my first pregnancy. I'm so confused.

Rather AF come so I know for sure when I'll be ovulating etc.. ive just ordered some FRER tests from amazon so hopefully if nothing over the weekend I might test just to see.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi, I did with my first. I had the withdrawal bleed after stopping and conceived that month!

So today AF arrived. Almost a month after stopping the pill so I'm glad I can now track my cycle and we can TTC baby number 2 properly.

@speckledpigeon how are you getting on?

Yes me. Twice! Both times I thought I was starting a withdrawal bleed, turned out to be a small bit of implantation bleeding.

@Harveybelle we're obviously synced up cos AF got me today too! Nearly exactly 28 days after coming off pop. But I feel now I can be more organised this month and try to track things. I've ordered some OPKs and a thermometer so going to give it a go.

I think all the signs I was spotting were normal AF type symptoms but it's been so long since my last and I guess I was also just hoping I could get pregnant straight away I got a bit over excited!

@speckledpigeon How are you with AF? Mine is a lot lighter than I remember. Day 3 and almost like how I used to be on day 5!

@Harveybelle Sorry - missed your message! Mine was pretty much as it used to be, as far as I can remember. All over now, so I'm getting ready to start using the OPKs for the first time. I've gotten into a habit with the BBT thermometer too in the morning. Fingers crossed it all works! How you doing?

Mine was a day then eased right off but on Tuesday came back heavy and still going! So I think it's a prolonged first one. Hopefully it'll be gone soon!! Good luck this month! Xx
