Cyclogest - any problems?

I’ve been put On cyclogest by my consultant after 3 consecutive miscarriages in the hope that it may improve embedding. But I’ve been on it since sept 2019 and no joy with ttc yet . Then at Xmas I bled two weeks after my last period. So my consultant advises come off it for a month and then go back on for three more months. Just reached the end of three more months and again a weird period... kicking in on day 19 of my cycle. Prior to being on it my cycles were always pretty regular - has anyone else had issues with this? I am considering packing it in as I don’t think it’s helping us to conceive ...

Are you using it throughout your whole cycle? As far as I know you only take it either when get positive test or after ovulation becaise otheriwse it messes up ovulating. I have been on it because of recurrent mc, have an 18month old and currently 32weeks preg and putting it down solely to the success of cyclogest.

I’m just using it from day 21 in cycle through to date my is period due as this is what my consultant suggested.

I just wondered if irregular bleeding between cycles was a possible side effect for some people as it’s never happened before and it’s v frustrating!

Weird thing is, I’m tracking ovulation and continue to ovulate normally. It came right when expected every month but then a period less than a week later
