Ladies is it this even possible?

This morning while working from home I became exhausted to the point I could have fallen asleep at my desk then this evening before dinner I felt like I wanted to be sick and actually had a mini gag!

MMC in Nov @ 9 Weeks
Chem last month

TTC'ing for 10 years!!

Definitely a sign to wait! Let’s all do it tomorrow morning! It will be very early for me but I feel so sick today it’s worth a blast!
How totally annoying to have a faulty test!
Here’s to three bfp tests tomorrow!

BelievinForAMiracle · 17/05/2020 10:37

I find it so weird that suddenly I can’t eat things that I have always loved. The bacon my husband cooked this morning made my stomach churn. He may as well have been cooking rancid fish for the reaction my stomach gave! You said you felt similar Cassie? It’s very odd.
Last month I was symptom spotting and like you Lucinda I said I wouldn’t this time... but this time I have way more. I also really painfully felt my ovulation and did an ovulation test - big smiley face! Which is amazing as I supposedly have run out of eggs! So if I’m pregnant my dr is going to have to eat his words! Fingers crossed and prayers sent for you ladies.

It's heartburn I'm struggling with that's tipped me off
Everything is giving me heartburn
And as of last night a touch of nausea too.

I'm not symptom spotting or TTC at the moment. I was a few years ago and after an MC I've given myself a break.

But this is insane!

Aww I'm praying for BFPs ladies!

In this together!!!

So frustrating because I can see the line on the CB test from last night and it's BLUE, the right width and appeared within ten mins! Wish I hadn't cracked it open!!!

I'm just going to remain positive and plan for next feb ! Smile

Harveybell · 17/05/2020 11:55

Hey ladies. Read the post and didn't want to not say 'good luck' for your BFPs tomorrow!

I came off the pill on the 4th of this month so really newly trying for baby number 2! Not even had my first period yet so not hoping for anything this month but wanted to wish you all luck x

BelievinForAMiracle · 17/05/2020 13:44

Thanks Harveybell.

Cassie, that sounds like a bfp to me! I hope the next one confirms it!

BelievinForAMiracle · 17/05/2020 13:45

So sorry about the miscarriage. I had one three years ago. It’s so hard getting hopes up only to have them dashed. But as my name suggests I believing and hoping for a miracle.

Lucindaa · 17/05/2020 15:10

@BelievinForAMiracle the coffee did it for me very early on when I was pregnant. I really hope this is your BFP

@cassie0790 that is pants about your test. Clearblue isn't cheap either.....i used to burn through them but never had a faulty one.

@BelievinForAMiracle yes tomorrow is test day!!! We know our bodies and something is going on because every month I feel something while symptom spotting and drives me insane but this is completely different where ive had to post on here.

@Harveybell thx. Wishing you luck towards that BFP x

So just an update, I intended to test today but I woke up at 4am like zombie and went to the loo and completely forgot. Then felt really hungry this morning. My breast are still sore and while writing this I feel like i want to go to sleep. In fact I might just do that....

Ha! 🤣 have a nice snooze. I felt bad all morning. Then ate through two oranges... never a favourite go to food for me before but it was all I fancied. Feeling much better this eve. Which is good I guess but now I’m not sure I have any symptoms!
I will do a test in the morning even though it may be too early at 8dpo.
All the best everyone 🤞

2020wish · 17/05/2020 19:15

Good luck for BFP tomorrow

Lucindaa · 17/05/2020 20:05

Not an afternoon sleeper by any means but I had a 3 hr ultra power nap until my husband woke me up with a cup of tea Smile

I've already got butterflies in my tummy, test is ready for the morning Crumbs

I’m 6dpo. Had a mc in April. I’m getting all the symptoms I had when I was last pregnant but trying my best not to symptom spot. Tiredness, twinges, stingy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. Feel a bit sickish. Trying to not get my hopes up and dunno when I should test

Lucindaa · 17/05/2020 21:41

@2020wish 4 more sleeps!! Lets make this a lucky BFP thread.

I'm now having doubts about testing.....because I can't bare to see a BFN!! Todays i've felt so sleepy, left breast very tender but so signs down below!

Hi ladies,

I’m in the same boat! 7dpo today, vomited this morning but felt nauseous for the past 2 days. DP and I weren’t actively TTC, but I ovulated early this month, so there’s a chance! Don’t want to test before af due, saves myself the disappointment.

Good luck for all your BFP’s! X

Bunnyfuller · 17/05/2020 22:09

It takes a fertilised egg 5 days to develop into a blastocyst. The blast will then start implanting in the uterine lining. At this point it starts producing hcg to help sustain the embryo until the placenta takes over.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but I’ve been where you are, and knowing the science doesn’t support pregnancy symptoms this early finally stopped me agonising too early.

Good luck to all of you x

Lucindaa · 17/05/2020 23:45

@RoseA89 nausea must mean something considering any normal circumstance we would class ourselves as I'll!!

@Bunnyfuller I've been pregnant before and I can categorically tell you that from 5/6dpo I had symptoms! (Food adversion, feeling cold and exhausted). We all know the science but I am looking for encouragement and hope. Just want share my experience because I've got absolutely no one who is on my journey of unexplained infertility. I never thought after 13 years of marriage I'd be childless and there are people on here in exactly the same boat as me.

Hi @Lucindaa

I didn’t try for as long as you, only 5 years, 5 mc and the loss of a twin. I do genuinely empathise. I just know I got to a point where I had to ground myself and have some sanity. IVF was where I got that when the consultant explained the embryo journey, and when hcg starts, being the hormone that causes the symptoms.

I wish you all the best luck on your journey, truly. It’s a bloody hard road x

Lucindaa · 18/05/2020 00:14

@Bunnyfuller firstly I'm sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking.

I've had 2 failed rounds of IVF without anything to freeze....but having conceived naturally last sept I have to remain optimistic and at the age of 35 I know my body and my cycle! I'm clinging on to hope for that one shot at becoming a mother!!

OP posts:
BelievinForAMiracle · 18/05/2020 09:31

I am clinging to hope as well. I hear you about it being to early, its only been a week so I decided to give it a few more days. I can’t face the likely negative result this morning. So so tired... I had to go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Thank goodness for lock in and not being at work! Although the world is in turmoil this has been helpful for conception and getting the rest needed! I normally work crazy hours and I think I have been far too stressed for conception (in all seriousness). Anyway at my great age the slowing down of life is helping currently I think. (Hopefully) praying for our bfps soon ladies.

cassie0790 · 18/05/2020 09:31

Good morning ladies,

Wishing you all BFPs today

I'm seriously trying to wait to test again :)

Going to stop thinking about it - I'm starting to become obsessive!

Hope you guys are all feeling okay xx

BelievinForAMiracle · 18/05/2020 09:36

Rose A89 I agree with Lucindaa that our nausea must count for something. And I usually love my morning coffee and now it tastes nasty. Hormones are active if nothing else. I do know that hormones can be very deceptive though... the little buggers.

BelievinForAMiracle · 18/05/2020 09:37

Hi Cassie,
So we all decided to wait!! Funny. I’ve got boob pain this am to add to my list. Just one breast... but that’s new!

BelievinForAMiracle · 18/05/2020 09:42

Hoping and praying for all of you. I will try again in a few days... and like cassie says I will try not to be obsessive. Keep well and let’s try a test in a few days if af doesn’t arrive. (I’m so irregular that I’m pretty sure it won’t anyway) xx

Harveybelle · 18/05/2020 09:58

Good luck ladies.

I think I'm being over sensitive to my hormones as we only came off the POP on the 4th. No period yet only a tiny brown spotting once yesterday, but I've been a bit hormonal, my sons tomato sauce keeps making me feel icky, and I can't stop thinking about eating mozzarella!

I doubt very much I'm pregnant already as I say I've only been off the POP for two weeks, so probably my hormones due to that but.. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ it makes you wonder about every little symptom!

Lucindaa · 18/05/2020 12:34

Hello all, I didn't wake up early as per the past few days and instead had a good nights sleep considering I slept for 3 hrs yesterday afternoon!

Anyway it was a BFN this morning! Symptoms currently are still experiencing sore left breasts although not has firm as they have been feeling.

@BelievinForAMiracle Its a bizzare feeling when you just want to nod off, whats up with that? Litterally wfh if you asked me to go to bed I would have last thurs x

@cassie0790 having tested now I'm relaxed because although I'll be gutted if its not this month for me I have to remain positive and keep sending good vibes to everyone! x

@Harveybelle exactly! I've read thousands of stories about the different symptoms before a BFP!! x
