@Attybae welcome lovely! The waiting is awful isn't it? I'm on cycle one after a molar pregnancy last year. It's taken 6 months to get signed off to be able to try again so although this is technically cycle 1 we actually started trying in May last year, got pregnant in August then found out about the molar/miscarriage at my 12 week scan in October and have had to wait till now to start trying again so I'm soooo over waiting and feeling super impatient. Fingers crossed this is your month! Are you an early tester or will you wait until AF is due?

@MrsDh2019 oh that must be messing with your head so badly! Definitely sounds like just waiting until you can get a definitive answer one way or the other is the best plan. I'm honestly baffled by my body. I'm 11DPO today and got a BFN on a FRER this morning. DP and I DTD yesterday and I've spotted ever since. AF isn't due till Monday but I feel like I'd be getting a BFP by now if I was pregnant as I got a BFP 11DPO with my last pregnancy and it was clear as day not a squinter.

@notyetamumbuttrying - mate I'm having the exact same thing..spotting since yesterday afternoon. TMI but it's brown like old blood and only when I wipe, not enough to mark.my underwear. That's never happened in my life so I thought MAYBE implantation but surely id be getting a BFP by now if that was the case? I'm getting the same mild cramping and pressure too but I just don't think I'm pregnant, my gut just says no 😔.

@EllieJai44 glad you found us lovely! How you feeling. So did your BFP come 48 hours after your spotting started or finished? I had brown spotting starting yesterday afternoon and its ongoing. It's not getting any heavier but it's been there every time I've wiped

@Noble89 I'm feeling okay thank you! Tired and a bit nauseous here and there!
I had a random show of blood about midday on Saturday 9th and the Monday with FMU I got a faint positive test. I only had the blood once and nothing else 🤷‍♀️

I'm 14dpo today and here my test compared to the first test I did 4 days ago

Ooh... usually spotting is implantation maybe you could’ve been a late implant?! I’ve read online it could happen anywhere up to 12dpo so who knows!! I’m still holding out hope for you!! 🤞🏼
I was the same with #1 - 12 dpo with evening urine I did my first POAS and it was BFP clear as day ... however I have trust issues with FMU because the next day I did it again and it was barely visible so that panicked me then! So this time around doing strip test with FMU I just don’t trust it 🤣 so now I have no choice but to wait until Monday and I’m NOT going to try and find where he’s hidden the FRERs 😬😂 x

@SmileyT I will test Sunday I think as I’m an idiot who tested last night and got a BFN. I expected it so don’t know why I tested. I told my hubby and he said maybe it’s just hiding from us for now 😪😭 which of course made me emotional ..

@Noble89 @notyetamumbuttrying girls I’ve had af like cramping for 3 days now and brown spotting when I wipe just in the morning. I don’t know if there’s something not right or it’s normal. And as you know I got a faint BFP yesterday morning. It’s like our bodies are playing tricks on us.

@EllieJai44 that looks good 😍 I’m going to test Sunday again and I’m hoping for a stronger line like that.

@Kodasmom I saw your test and I deffo see a line! Its amazing at how much different brands can show line, ive taken some cheap strips that show really faint and then I've taken others that show dark!

These ive found to be the best, they are Clear and Simple test from B&M

@Noble89 wow how weird! Are you 13dpo today? Yeah same, only when I wipe and it's dry too. I reckon we didn't get positives because implantation wasn't finished yet. It takes 48 hours for hcg to detect from implantation. And 12dpo is usually the latest it happens. Maybe we all implanted late? Seems unlikely tho eh lol! But still likely as well lol! Have you been pregnant before?
@Kodasmom will you test again now or wait until AF is missed?
@EllieJai44 those tests look awesome! I didn't even know B&M did pg tests! Are these early detection ones then?

@EllieJai44 AHH that line is coming on lovely! Definitely seems like a sticky bean 😊. Well the spotting started yesterday afternoon so I guess I should know on the next 24-48 hours if it was implantation. I really don't think I'm pregnant though so not holding out much hope. Was it brown bleeding? Mine is like brown discharge not red bleeding if you know what I mean?

@MrsDh2019 I know it COULD be implantation but my gut just tells me it's not. I didn't have IB with my previous pregnancy and I got a clear BFP at 11DPO last time where this time I've got a very clear BFN at 11DPO.

@Kodaamom have you tested again today? Spotting early on can be completely normal so try not to worry

@notyetamumbuttrying they say they have sensitivity of 20miu and I think first response is around 8miu 🤔 but these deffo have given me stronger lines! They come in packs of 2 for 99p!

@Noble89 Thank you, I really hope so! It was red and only once when I wiped so wasnt a lot

Wow and so cheap too! @EllieJai44 my nearest ones is miles away and don't fancy London buses at this time so I'll sit tight with the ones I've got for now but good to know these are out there!

@notyetamumbuttrying oh thats a shame! The second cheap brand I've found good is Home Bargains ones but also First response are good and you can get them delivered lol

Hi all, just hopped on over and catching up with everyones news. Seems like there's quite a few will find out one way or another over the weekend. Keeping everything crossed for you all 🤞
I'm now on the ever dragging TWW 😴 I've no idea if I even ovulated this month as I had 2 rises followed by falls this cycle but neither of the rises hit what's usually a peak for me. I've been reading articles about the lockdown causing havoc with a lot of womens cycles due to stress, it's definitely doing it to mine this month! Anyone else find their cycle suddenly out of whack the past month or so? Now just trying to work out how to lower my stress levels in the middle of a pandemic, working from home with a toddler climbing the walls because he cant go to the park .....wine and chocolate is my only solution 😂

@DKDK123 I have had two peaks too! Apparently the second one is the true peak.

Aw girls I’m such a dick. I was waiting on FRER tests in the post and they came today so I tested when DH was away as I knew he’d go mad lol I got a BFN 😭 I’m totally disheartened. I knew I shouldn’t have been doing it but I couldn’t resist the urge.

I can bring myself to tell him. Why do I have to be this crazy and impatient!!!!

@Kodasmom don't tell him lol! I haven't told mine when I tested at 12dpo. How many dpo are you today?

@notyetamumbuttrying I’m 12dpo, AF is due on Monday. I feel so stupid and because my BFP was so faint yesterday morning, plus the spotting and cramping, I have been having doubts. I always thought FRER were most reliable. I wish now I had just waited until Sunday to test again

@Kodasmom it wasn't FMU though so hopefully that's why it was negative. Wait until Sunday and try again. I'm testing again tomorrow with a FRER but then if negative again I'll just wait for AF on Sunday n if she doesn't show wait two more days and then test again. Don't beat yourself up too much, it's done now.

@Dreaming101 I was reading up on it and the first one was a failed attempted to release an egg and your body senses it so tries again a few days later to release another one - how fascinating are our bodies!

@Kodasmom dont beat yourself up about it I wouldn't have been able to wait either! There's no way I could wait till sunday either I'd be doing one tomorrow morn with FMU, I'm too impatient for waiting 😂 Early testing does have its draw backs tho in that you could be made aware of a chemical that you may otherwise not have known about. I've had 2 but as disappointing as they are at the time I get comfort from knowing at least I can fall pregnant so I dont mind early testing. Keeping everything crossed you just need it to be FMU to get that stronger line 🤞🤞🤞

@DKDK123 I wonder if it’s a common thing for us women? I’d never heard of it before!

@Kodasmom don’t beat yourself up and don’t tell the hubby if it’s going to stress you both out. It’s not hiding something from him to be nasty. I would 100% have done the same thing. I tested last night knowing it would be a BFN just on the off chance it could be a lil positive..

Also sorry guys if this is a silly question.. what is FMU?

It’s put me in bad form now. It’s so hard not to get your hopes up when you’ve all the symptoms. I think I’ll talk him into me POAS tomorrow morning with FMU to see.

If AF comes next week I think I might try and talk to my GP.

@Kodasmom I buy a batch of the cheap tests think its something like £4 for 20 of them on amazon so I can POAS as many times as I like to satisfy the curiosity without feeling bad about using up the tests. I have 2 dearer ones on standby to use as a confirmer if I get a definite positive on one of the cheap ones. However with my first it was the internet cheapy that picked up the positive very clearly before clear blue did!

Really hoping you get a lovely strong line tomorrow morn, if not maybe buy the cheaper ones so you can test as many times as you want ......and dont need to tell the hubby how many you did ;)
