Hi

I have been TTC for 2 years.
I have Polycystic Ovaries (not PCOS) I have one blocked fallopian tube and I don't ovulated every cycle. My cycles range from 15-72 days averaging between 38 and 55 days.

I have heard alot about Myo-Inositol and was wondering what people think of it?
Has it worked for you? Not worked for you?

What brand did you use?

What dosage? Some say 2g some say 4g.

Thanks x

Also do I need to wait for a new cycle before taking it or can I start taking it mid-way through a cycle?

You can start anytime. I take 1 teaspoon of the powder a day along with metformin. Has the doc prescribed you metformin? Apparently when used together the results are even better.

I use Inofolic Alpha but have seen the Natures Best one recommended too. Inofolic has got folic acid in it too. I heard a fertility nurse talking about 'good' and 'bad'/low quality inositol on a podcast the other day and she recommended Inofolic... but not sure the brand matters! Inofolic is quite expensive in my opinion but will try it for a couple of months. No side effects so far.

I have got my tub of Myo-Inositol today and it comes with a 1ml spoon.

I need to have 4g a day but how many 1ml spoons is that?

1ml is 1g in water
But varies for other substances so I don't know what to go by 😫

I would just do one teaspoon a day in water. That's roughly 4g.
