Anyone had 5 days of flashing smileys?
Where is my static?
I'm worried incase I miss out this month. Anyone had any experience please?

Mine eventually came on the 6th day when I'd pretty much given up on them

Slippingcareer · 11/05/2020 13:04

Yes the first month I used it I had 9 days of flashing smileys!

imhereforthecake · 11/05/2020 13:08

I've been using them the last few months and only ever had 3 max flashing days.
If you don't mind me asking, have you had any luck conceiving?

I used the CB that pinpoint your 2 most fertile days and conceived my son on the first cycle using them.

Been using the CB that pinpoint the 4 most fertile days and no luck yet, have been trying for 6mths.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 11/05/2020 13:49

@inhereforthecake I am onto my third month using them! First month I had two days flashing then static, last month I had 19 days of them!! This month 9! Just got my static yest day xx

Chanel05 · 11/05/2020 13:52

I used to get static on around day 6 or 7 but have gone up to 9 before! I gave up using them in the end cos of the cost and have fallen pregnant twice using just the cheapies.

serialplanner · 11/05/2020 14:18

@Slippingcareer may I ask what time the day you tested? Just once? I used that kit this month and 20 tests later using FMU not one smiley face.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 11/05/2020 15:42

@serialplanner I've never had a static from first morning urine, what I do is I use first morning urine until I get flashing, then when I have that I use it later in the day normally after 10 am

AliasGrape · 11/05/2020 15:45

I used to get it for 6,7,8 or more days. In the end I found I had to test again in the evening to get my static - usually after about 3 days of flashing then by the following morning it would be flashing again.

serialplanner · 11/05/2020 15:57

Thanks @Anxious the 2 day one is only a static smiley -no flashing but if I need to use them again I think I will get the 4 day one you are talking about and try later in the day.

hiddenfigure · 11/05/2020 19:16

I just started to use these this month.

I had 2 days of the hollow circle. 6 days of the flashing circle and then the following day the static smiley face. I will admit that any more days of flashing smileys and I could have lost the plot. But reading back on the instructions leaflet, 5-8 days is normal in 25% of the cases for flashing smileys.

I have 11 tests left. I believe I was not to test again after the solid smiley? So can I use these with the same CB stick next month? Should have enough to see me through the cycle if it’s similar to this month.

Slippingcareer · 11/05/2020 19:31

@serialplanner I test in the morning with FMU as per the instructions. Normally I test once per day unless I feel ovulation pain. The 2 times I felt ovulation pain, I tested in the evening and immediately got a static smiley.

serialplanner · 11/05/2020 20:31

@hiddenfigure hopefully you don't need them next month🥰

serialplanner · 11/05/2020 20:34

@Slippingcareer thank you for replying. I stumped. I tested everyday with FMU. I didn't notice pains this month but if I do will try your method. But also I think I'll go got the 4 day one instead of 2 days.

The only plus is I haven't obsessed about DPO because I don't know when it happened😂

sani83 · 11/05/2020 20:38

I am on the 21 day of my cycle, keep getting peak and high LH test results, my body is trying to ovulate but hasn't happened yet. Yesterday I had light bleeding, today full on heavy bleeding. Today I tested twice says peak. I've never had this before. Has someone experienced something similar? Any advice?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/05/2020 08:36

@sani83 I don't know about the bleeding I'm afraid. Have you already ovulated this cycle? I had ten days of flashing "high fertility" along with ten days of ewcm, now I am onto day four of positive opks! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/05/2020 08:38

@sani83 how long are your cycles? I normally get positive ovulation when period is due, could it ot come early, x

sani83 · 12/05/2020 10:35

@AnxiousAnnie86 I haven't ovulated yet. My cycles have been messy/irregular for the last year. I am measuring my temperature every morning low temperature however still heavily bleeding. The OPK test came back as Peak yesterday that's confusing. If it wasn't for that I would have said my period arrived early. Booked appointment to see a doctor tomorrow. Hopefully nothing serious

imhereforthecake · 12/05/2020 11:22

I'm on day 6 of flashing smileys.
I feel like giving up this month!

I don’t know if this is just me but I’ve only ever got a static smiley when I test in the evening? Maybe worth a try for you too x

sani83 · 12/05/2020 12:13

Just had another peak OPK since 4th May all I get is either high or peak OPK no ovulation, one day light bleeding two days heavy bleeding

jazzibelle · 12/05/2020 16:57

@imhereforthecake don't give up hope.

I tend to get circle for 1-3 days, then 6-9 days of flashing, then a static. Usually, I'll test once a day with FMU until I get flashing, then I test FMU, SMU, mid-afternoon and evening (depending on how late I stay up, I might squeeze another in before bed). Usually, for me, the static shows in the late-afternoon early evening.

How many times a day are you testing?

hiddenfigure · 12/05/2020 17:05

@imhereforthecake I had 6 days of flashing too - got a static on the 7th. Stick with it!

imhereforthecake · 12/05/2020 17:06

@jazzibelle I was testing once a day until I got my flashing, then testing twice, morning and before bed. I used my last test this morning - waiting for my delivery of more today.

@hiddenfigure I'll try a few more days see what happens. Have you had any luck with the clue blue?
