Hi all,
I'm new to this site but have seen how supportive it is to discuss worries, experiences and thoughts with people that share them.
Me and my partner are starting to try home insemination after there being problems with him maintaining an erection, we thought that this may be a less stressful way to start our family for the both of us. (We will also continue to try through intercourse alongside)

Has anyone or is anyone using this method and have you got any tips for this?

Believe me cock rings help, ( bf age related), look them up, non invasive too.

Hi Nsky, we have tried cock rings as well as other toys, I think its down to nerves now that we have had so many failed attempts. (not that he would admit that)

I feel you! Me and my DH have been having the same sort of problems along side him not being able to cum under pressure.

All this week I have been looking at home insemination and he is up for it which is great. Today my pre seed, pots and syringes have arrived!

Flashing smiley face on my Clear Blue ovulation for the past 3 days so I’m keen to try!

Have you had a go yet? Any tips?

I’ve just got my BFP on our 3rd attempt at home insemination so it does work! I was uncertain when we started but this site gave me hope seeing other success stories so I wanted to share mine. I‘m 33 and suffer from vaginismus so unable to have intercourse but managed to insert the 10ml syringes. Used only natural lubricant by foreplay first.
I used OPKs and first two months we only did it twice around ovulation without success. This time we did it 5 times and started a few days after my period ended, every other day or so until a few days after ovulation to cover all bases.
I inserted slowly and left the syringe in for 15-20 minutes to prevent backflow. Then I used a vibrator to O. Laid with by hips on a pillow for 30-45 minutes & read a book to relax. I was genuinely shocked that it happened so quickly and relatively easily. Good luck!
