Painful ovulation after stopping pill??

Hi ladies,

Hope you are all well? I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same? Since stopping the mini pill I’ve had painful ovulation pain (guessing its ovulation due to the time it happens in my cycle) before I was on the pill occasionally I would have a sharp pain on the side i was ovulating & sometimes in my back too. However it was never that painful & never lasted that long at all.

Since stopping the pill it’s been on & off cramping in my back more towards the side in which I’m ovulating from & occasionally the cramps are at the front lightly too. The first day is always the strongest & I often have to take painkillers (so not like me I never bother with them during my periods as they aren’t painful at all normally & until stopping the pill I’ve never had ovulation pain like this that required painkillers)

The cramping/backache in my back happens on & off for days during my fertile period & then nothing until the next month. Have any of you experienced this after stopping the pill? Please tell me it calmed down after a few months she prays

I always had ovulation pain when not on the pill. After having my tube removed for an ectopic pregnancy, the surgeon said my ovary was fused to scar tissue from appendectomy causing the pain.

ME!! I ended up going to the doctors because I had severe pains in my lower tummy especially on my right side. She told me this was ovulation pain and Christ, I’ve never felt anything like it. I only had it for the first cycle and now, although I still get the stabbing pains and uncomfortable dull aches, they’re not as bad as that first cycle!
