IC vs FRER

AF due in 4 days but Flo app says my period is coming with a 7 day delay so who knows?! Had a CP two cycles ago and cycle length has gone from 29 days to around 40 days with ovulation around day 21! Got a BFP on FRER today (wooo!) but the IC are still so faint - I know that FRER are much more sensitive but so nervous about another CP.... do I keep doing IC to look for the darkening?! Picture for comparison from the same urine (bottom two) this morning.

That's a very clear positive, congrats! Hope this one sticks for you 🤞🤞🤞

I wouldn’t even bother with the ic from now on. The line on the frer is brilliant. If you want to see some kind of progression I’d get a few digi ones, the weeks ones. But that’s just because I was obsessed with seeing the weeks indicator finally reach 3+. But I know they can cause worry for lots of women as there’s such a huge range of hcg in each weeks bracket.

I never bothered with the digital ones, they're not as sensitive as FRERs and just seemed like a waste of money to me. Each to their own. But I'm not convinced that obsessively testing is actually helpful.

Thanks all! My Flo app states that I'm 6w3 pregnant as my last period was 1/4/2020 but if I go by my apparent cycle length on the NHS website, I'm only 4w. Which one is correct?!

It will be confirmed at your 12 week scan.
Meanwhile if you were tracking ovulation that's probably the best one to go by. Otherwise average cycle length. But the midwife will go by LMP.

I only got a positive on an IC at 14 dpo so I wouldn't worry about that sort of line at 10 dpo, that's a clear positive on the frer :)
