How often are you DTD?

We have been TTC for a few months now. I know this sounds silly but I'm starting to worry we are DTD too much. Is that possible? Has anyone got any advice on how often is optimum for conception?

I believe every other day until you get a positive opk then you should do it that day and the day after (google sperm meets egg, it's basically what they say) is what's recommended but quite frankly I've got friends who have fallen after having sex just once and others who have done it every day at least once. There's no right or wrong answer basically!

I only did it once, 4 days before ovulation and got a BFP. Unfortunately lost it but trying again.
Tried to recreate the luck,This month I had sex once 4 days before ovulation and BFN.

This month I’m planning every other day from around cd12 (I ovulate cd20)

I don’t know if there are any studies about too much sex for pregnancy

It might be too much if the sperm isn’t getting time to properly regenerate each time. Have a look at the Sperm Meet Egg Plan

And when I got my BFP this time I ovulated on Wednesday, and we’d had sex on the Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.

Not sure how much is too much, but echo the comment about leaving time for the sperm to regenerate between DTD. Personally, we aim at DTD every other day as soon as that flashy smiley appears, and on the day the static smiley shows.

This cycle we've only managed it once, so not holding out much hope May will be our month, but you never know

If you track your ovulation, I would say a few days before peak ovulation and on the day of ovulation. I’m nearly 12 weeks pregnant and dtd once during high ovulation and once on the day I ovulated.
