Hi girls

Hope you are all well.

Baby 1 one for me ttc the first month after coming off on the pill
I did the clear blue test on Monday for the first time (two weeks after AF) and a huge smiley face straight away
Today I just feel odd - almost like an anxious feeling and my boobs are sore, I knocked against my desk and winced.

I’m wondering if Sunday and Monday were my O day and that I’m perhaps 5dpo.

Is this all in my head ? xxx

The LH surge (smiley face) comes about 12-24 hours before ovulation. This means that it is more likely you ovulated monday/tuesday and therefore would be around 2/3 dpo today.

Pregnancy symptoms don't show this early, unfortunately, because the embryo doesn't implant until 7-12 dpo, and hCG is not released until implantation.

The sore boobs could be due to a couple of things:

1. The raise in hormones (LH and now progesterone) causing funny things to happen!
2. As someone who has gone through the TWW a few times now, I know how much your mind can imagine or overreact to normal pains and twinges. It could just be in your head, unfortunately.

The best thing to do is wait until your missed period or test at 13/14dpo - this is the earliest that you are likely to get a BFP.
