Ovulation Testing

Hello!

Very new to all this TTC but have been reading many threads here over the last few months.

Finally decided to take the plunge this month with tracking ovulation using Easy@Home tests and the premom app.

Now feel like I'm losing my mind!

I am currently CD19 but have not seen any surge on the tests, I have seen lines but they're never as dark or darker than the control line. As others have suggested, I have been testing multiple times a day when I thought my fertile window was coming up (supposedly days 13-18).

I've attached my most recent tests - I had some earlier in my cycle that were similar so I'm really confused.

Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received.

How long are your cycles usually? It looks like they are getting darker so you could be coming up to it!

It might of just not happened yet! I got a positive on day 22 and I have a 32 day cycle so don't worry!

My cycle is usually 31-32 days so I'll keep testing.

Ive just got a positive opk today on CD22. Im usually a 29-30 day cycle. I said to myself yesterday that id had enough now and wasnt checking again this month but its a good job i did. Dont give up, keep the faith!

@DaisyChain16 definitely don't worry then! Every month I'm day 22 on 32 day cycles. I may be a day earlier or later but my period changes by a day to match that. not everyone has the 'typical' 14 day luteal phase :)

@DaisyChain16 Could you try the clear blue smiley face one? Then it gives you a definite x

I would try the clearblue ovulation test
You can't go wrong as it tells you when to start testing from and gives you smiley face to indicate fertile.

I would be having better luck if my DH would be more enthusiastic in my fertile window 🙄

@Louisac93 I have thought about clear blue but I don't want to become obsessed...even though I already totally am! I kind of just said I would test this month to see where I was etc etc as I've been tracking my cycle for ages just not ovulation with OPKs.

DH and I have been DTD every other day either way so who knows what will happen.

You spend most of your adult life trying not to get pregnant...and then you want to and realise how mind-blowing TTC actually is!
