Question about conceiving - am I jumping the gun?!

Hi,

We’re trying for baby #2. After my first son was born I had the depo-provera injection and it stopped my periods almost instantly. I didn’t book my appointment due early January with the intention to let it wear off. I’ve been told it can take a while and it was used for a little over 2 years.

Today I got my first period, does that mean I’m ovulating again or am I getting prematurely excited?! Thanks

My sister had injection was told the same and you her next period she was pregnant with her second too. Hope it like that for you love shame I am not like me sister 3 years and still trying I wasn't on injections. Good luck xxx
