Anyone concieved while breastfeeding?

I'm still feeding my toddler before bed and overnight and my periods took forever to return! Now they have and I am tracking my cycles on kindara and natural cycles. I have also been temping for about 10 days too, I have seen any signs of ovulation from the different temperatures. Whether this is cause I am still waking in the night or maybe breastfeeding affects it, I don't know?

Has anyone fallen pregnant while still feeding? I am not sure if I have regular cycles anymore either, and I think they are a bit longer than average.

I'm starting to become obsessed :-( xx

Yup, three times! All after 18 months though when I'd gone back to work and was feeding only before bed and morning (though I know others who've got pregnant with much more regular feeding).

Nope - breastfed for 6 months with no period and decided to stop so my periods would come back and we could ttc, fell pregnant 2 months later

I fell pregnant while feeding my toddler. He’s 22 months and I’m 20 weeks pregnant. I didn’t get a period for 14 months while feeding him and when they did return I had long cycles with ovulation occurring right at the end. It took about 6 months for me to get back onto my regular cycle but fell pregnant quickly once this had happened. I did night wean my little boy at 18 so he was only feeding once before bed at this point.

I find not knowing what's happening with my body very stressful to be honest and would now be happy to wean my little one off his feeds but will do it gradually.
I'll keep tracking my cycles which might help shed some light on what's going on! X

Yup . I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I was nursing my 11 month old 3 times a day at the time of conception.
My period returned 4 months postpartum EBF 🤷‍♀️! They came back as regular as ever , every 28 days .

P.S No idea how true this is but I’ve read you more likely to release multiple eggs breastfeeding and more likely to conceive twins

Yes, DD was 2.5 years old when I conceived DS.

Fed my little boy for 18 months and despite regular cycles I didn't fall pregnant. When I stopped feeding, I caught that month but sadly ended in MC.

Currently 20 weeks pregnant and can't wait to feed again. Good luck

Yes I got pregnant with DD3 whilst still feeding 8month old DD2. I was having periods but they weren't regular.

Yes. My two oldest are 16 months apart. My periods came back 4 months postpartum but I didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly as it had taken ages to conceive DC1. We'd dropped overnight feeds and that's all it took. It was a shock but a nice surprise.

Yep, conceived when DD1 was 9mo and I'd only had 1 sporadic period

Yes, but my periods returned six weeks after giving birth anyway.

Yes. My DDs are just over two years apart. Realised I was pg with D2 when D1 suddenly stopped feeding one day and made a face like 'what have you put in this!' and I realised I had that weird metallic taste in my mouth too.

I did. I was exclusively feeding a very hungry ds1 and got pg with ds2 when ds1 was about 4 months old.

12 month age gap.

However, my periods returned about 8 weeks after ds1 was born.

Yes I got pregnant whilst breastfeeding but DS was 16 months and wasn’t more than a handful of times per day. My periods had also been back since 6 months PP!
