Folic acid question

Hi everyone! I have just come off the pill and hubby and I have decided to start TTC in 3 months time once my cycle returns to normal (and once we have done some research on healthy pregnancy etc) after many years of using the pill.

My question is on taking folic acid and TTC supplements. The label says to start taking 3 months before you start trying. So if i start now and it takes say - a year - to conceive, is it safe to continue taking them for over a year? The label kind of implies that you will become pregnant very quickly after trying!! But doesn't mention about the in between time when you are actually trying.

This will be our first time TTC for baby number 1 so please be kind if i appear a little clueless :)

Yep you are fine to keep taking it no matter how long it takes to conceive Smile good luck

You can take them forever lol they're doing nothing but good. Your body needs vitamins... TTC or not. I've been taking a handful of vitamins and supplements for years since I started trying. Don't worry Grin
