Im on the contreceptive pill and started my 7 day break 3 or 4 days ago. I just started the withdrawal bleed it is very brown and incredibly light upon wiping I noticed this very strange solid tissue like lump.

Is it possibly a miscarriage? We were looking at coming of the pill soon to try for a baby

Are you sure it's not an old tampon ?

I've never used a tampon in my life only sanitary pads.

Could it be a dicidual cast?

Google decidual casts - it’s probably that. It’s when your womb lining comes out in one piece.

Looks like an old clot/lining.

Wouldn't be concerned unless happens regularly.

With endometriosis, this can be commonplace for many women.

Have you taken a pregnancy test?

Report
KellyHall · 03/05/2020 22:50

I got this a lot, particularly when I was younger.

If it's a clot it could be endo. You'll need a lap to find out. If you want to start a family then get it checked ASAP and don't let any GPs fob you off. You need a referral to a BGSE accredited centre

@FingersXssd83
I would not say that a bsge referral is needed right now.
A gynae referral, probably after an ultrasound if the problem persisted is probably the route the gp will advocate.

Thanks for all the replies I have ordered a test just to be on the safe side. I was under the impression that disidual casts were always pink or red. My tissue looked rather grey

Hi, I was just wondering if you found out what this was, I’ve had a similar experience recently, it looks about the same and I’m curious it’s not too serious or if I need to get it checked out. Thanks
