Sperm meets egg plan success?

Hi, I'm sure there are other threads about this but was just wondering if anyone used the SMEP and had success? 🙂

I would really like to hear some too! It’ll be our first month trying it so would be good hear any advice/thoughts?

We (almost, missed one day...) entirely followed SMEP the last cycle, but sadly not successful. Will be trying it again this cycle though, I figure having more sex has to be positive thing!

This is our first month trying SMEP, first baby and on month 5 of ttc (were also using pressed for the first time.

Currently on CD14

We've so far had sex on CD8, 10, 12, yesterday got an almost positive OPK so we had sex yesterday (more for fun & to try and catch ovulation) & today I got a positive OPK so we've had sex again tonight and will do it again tomorrow & Tuesday, hopefully we catch it this month.

Used pre seed every time except yesterday.

What cycle are you on? ☺️

It's our first time trying the SMEP this month, I think there's still only a 25% chance of it actually working, just think the method kind of guarantees the sperm and egg meeting 😊

I did SMEP this month and I can 100% say I'm a success story got my first bfp at 9dpo and now currently 15dpo AF 1 day late and got this nice dark line this morning 😁

It was our second month doing it but the first month we didn't follow it correctly but we made sure to follow it to the letter this month and hey presto BFP 😁😁😁 X

@Maidmummy thanks! Hoping for a bit more relaxed approach this month, taken 2 days off work over expected ovulation day. Was a bit obsessive this period and really thought I was getting a BFP this month and then AF arrived two days early instead xx

It worked for me on 3rd cycle, we did smep from day 8 to day 18. I was 43. It was knackering.

Congratulations!! How long had you been trying for previously?? And what symptoms did you have in your 2WW? 😊🥰

@SarahLM1990 I was trying for 3 months, it was the 3rd cycle. I had no symptoms at all in the 2WW.

@SarahLM1990 same here it was our 3rd cycle trying and same again no symptoms x
