Temping help please

Started temping yesterday. My temp yesterday was 36.07 and today was 35.98. I was in bed and hadn't moved. I temped orally. This doesn't seem right. What should it be. Day 14 today and usually ovulate day 17.

From what I have read it should be above 97f which is 36.11. And that lower temps could indicate hypothyroidism?

Pretty sure I haven't got that so should I just look for a change in BBT over time?

I think your bbt should drop just before you ovulate so it sounds promising, keep charting to see if your temp rises. If it stays raised for 3 days in a row you've ovulated. Pic of what I'm trying to explain attached !

I've always had low pre ovulation temps, often in the 35. range. I worried about things like thyroid illness as well (thanks, Google!) but it didn't appear to affect TTC. As PP says, there's usually a dip before ovulation so I'd take it as a good sign!

I quite enjoy BBT charting now and rely on it more that OPKs which I don't do any more.
After a few months you start to see your own trend and patterns.
It is premom I've heard other apps like fertility friend are good but I've got the hang of this one now and it's got my existing charts to go back and review against.
