Hi, new to this and as my username suggests, I'm not yet a mum. We've been trying for 8 months and nothing. I track ovulation and recently read that a short cycle could affect fertility due to the egg not being mature enough. On a 24 day cycle I ovulate on 10 day which I've read is too early for the egg to develop properly. So I guess I'm after responses from women who have successfully conceived with a short cycle and any tips for increasing my cycle. I've ordered some chaste berry tablets as I've read they help, but happy to hear other suggestions. Sometimes my cycle is 26 days so if I can keep them at that length I feel I'll have a greater chance of conceiving. Thanks for reading x

Hi @notyetamumbuttrying I have 24-26 day cycles and got my BFP this week so it can be done :). I also usually spotted 2-3 days before AF came as well. I was trying vitamin B6 this month to lengthen luteal phase (50mg from hllland and Barrett), but can't comment if it worked as got BFP this month!

Are you tracking ovulation using OPKs to know you ovulate on day 10?

Hi, thanks for the response! That is so comforting to hear that you conceived! Congratulations :) I was really starting to worry that all hope was gone! Do you know if it was during your 24 or 26 day cycle?
Yes I do opk and it was a smiley face yesterday on day 9, so we did it last night and will do it again tonight (hopefully). The only thing is, I never notice the egg white cervical mucus, so something else to worry me that all is not right lol! Thanks for the vitamin tip, I wonder if I can take along side the chaste berries and pregnacare...
