I’m so happy as I think I’m about to ovulate 😁 CD26! My opks are getting darker and had some EWCM. This is really early for me (I have pcos) and my last ov day was cd55! I’ve been taking myo-inositol since Feb so wonder if that’s had a positive impact or just coincidence.

Getting ahead of myself but it’s my dh’s birthday at the end of the month and I’m daydreaming about giving him a positive test as a bday present 🙊

Right, I'm at 5DPO and just had to have a two hour nap and woke up with the intense need for the family bag of Tyrells crisps that I knew was in the pantry (this need was fulfilled... all 200g of them). I'm not a crisp person and I slept fine last night, so this is odd.

Am I symptom spotting OR just being a lazy 🐮 and a greedy 🐷? Or both 😂😂😂

Woke up also to this hilarious pee chat. Yummyyy, warm wee 🍺

@juno231 I haven't had any really high ones this cycle 😢 my highest has been 25. Last month my peak was the full 200 so who knows what's going on?! We'll keep baby dancing and testing

are any of these positive? I started testing on CD9 as wanted to make sure I didn't miss it. Normally have 29-33 day cycle. Been trying to conceive forever, so maybe I'm reading them wrong... but the last one looks positive to me?

Is anyone else ridiculous ravenous with hunger at the mo? I could just eat anything in sight, and STILL FEEL HUNGRY 🐷

@Megan1591 I'd say you're nearing. Why don't you get the premom app (free) and add pictures, it tells you when high/peak. At peak mine was darker than the control. I'll attach a picture. After 4 hours the tests change and expire anyway so by keeping them it may confuse you whereas the app show it there and then.... hope that helps

Thank you @MrsEmilyB that's really helpful ❤️ I'm not convinced I am ovulating (though I may just be over thinking things!) so I'll be sure to throw in some flax seeds too once I'm back to CD1... currently CD31 without confirmed ovulation, boo. Any favourite smoothie recipes I can pinch too? I've seen plenty that don't look that appealing 😅

@GingerBaby89 haha I wish it was a BFP but after many months of irregular cycles and not having a clue when I’m ovulating I will take the small win of a positive OPK ha.

@MrsEmilyB I know, super harsh! Particularly given it was his idea to go once a day minimum. I don't expect a thank you note, but even so...!

@GingerBaby89 Yes, this is me at the moment. I think I'm 6DPO. But I read that progesterone batter ovulation causes tiredness and it's the same whether the egg is fertilised or not. I think we're maybe just much more aware of body changes at the moment?

@orangej oh I get your hopes 100% - back in March I was testing a day or two before OHs birthday and was determined that if it was a BFP I would keep it quiet until his day as part of a birthday surprise.

@marshmallow123 check step 2 under "sample collection" - it talks about refrigeration and then the test procedure is referring back to that.

@GingerBaby89 I'm 4dpo and my hunger is off the charts just did a quick google and progesterone peaks around a week after ovulation which increases hunger but also metabolic rate (so we're burning more calories at rest) so think we are both justified in eating the full bag of shared crisps 🐷 Also progesterone makes us more sleepy, lockdown probs doesn't help with this either 🤣 glad we're not the only ones @Newbie0818 @vintagemoo

@SmileyT that’s reassuring as I was worried I wasn’t getting the progesterone spike due to not ovulating. 🤞🏼 I did actually ov then!

@LV1987 my fave simple smoothie is a banana, handful of strawberries and blueberries, but of almond milk (or normal), and whatever seeds you want to throw in. I sometimes throw in some spinach too for a bit of umph x

Still no AF to speak of for me this evening. Same story today of a few drops of spotting but had no cramps at all today. Now 13dpo and AF supposedly due tomorrow. By now I usually have bad cramps and a lot more spotting so expecting to be late 🙈 just done a nice 35 minute 'fertility meditation' and I'm going to have a warm bath and read my book to chill!

@LV1987 - frigging love smoothies. They're part of my daily breakfast routine! Current faves are 1tbsp peanut butter, 1 banana, maca, blitzed seeds and unsweetened almond milk. Or half an avocado, blitzed seeds, maca, frozen berries, maple syrup and oat milk. Or frozen mango, melon, papaya and pineapple with maca, blitzed seeds and coconut milk. All of the above I add butter head lettuce or spinach to if I need a boost. Or supergreen powder but bleurgh.

Also, has anyone else read up on macros and fertility? I read a study today about it; really interesting. Best results come from under 40% carbs, at least 25% protein and at least 35% fat!

@LV1987 I ordered a smoothie maker which came at the weekend! I like a simple strawberry and banana (I’m using frozen) (with oat milk, can’t have dairy!) but I have been adding spinach to it which doesn’t change the flavour too much!! I tried it with seeds yesterday but found the seeds overpowered everything else. I came across this website the other day, has some nice looking recipes simplegreensmoothies.com/category/recipes/smoothies 😃

@Newbie0818 yep it's a good indication that you did ovulate and I'm taking it as a positive that I'm starving as that means that probably don't have low progesterone 🤷🏾‍♀️

@MrsEmilyB will you link the macro study I love reading up on this kind of thing, I've definitely watched a lot of Inge fleur recently (pretty sure that was your recommendation) x

@SmileyT - inge fleur was me too 😅 can you tell I like reading? I'm a Nurse by trade haha. The study is of IVF patients, however it doesn't matter how baby gets in, egg quality and uterine hospitality will need to be good for us all! Here's the study:

@Skyla01 I have literally been SO hungry and never satisfied. I usually get a bit hungry before af but this is uncomfortable. Also so tired and achey today. Not sure if it’s lockdown? Also wondering about progesterone.
