Thanks for the replies re sex! Good to know I’m not alone in going to the loo after, was worried that might ruin chances or something. I typically stay lied down for 15 mins after too so phew.

@popcorndiva we used to have a sex towel in uni, but seem to have forgotten about using it. I may have to bring that one back into play!

Juno231 · 06/05/2020 15:14

@Marshmallow123 check the instructions! They tell you when to start depending on your average cycle, plus things like not using FMU, not drinking too much, waiting 2 h minimum before you test etc.

Test once a day (I'd vote for afternoon as I gather LH takes a while to reach your urine) and once you're getting closer to your ovulation day/the tests start getting darker - ramp it up to 3 times a day. E.g. 12-4-8pm. Reason being the surge can potentially only last 4 h so you might miss it otherwise.

Remember to download the Femometer app and to use the intelligent recognition tool on there or it will drive you mad trying to interpret the results!

vintagemoo · 06/05/2020 15:20

@CoronaBaby Yes I think we are! It's useful that they are basically the days of the month eh. I'm just really tired, but that could be a whole host of things. I'm also quite gassy... Lovely I know. My toddler literally jumped her whole weight on my stomach this morning, which made me panic too haha. How are you feeling? Have you had any symptoms?

@eljoy Sometimes I think I'm just exhausted from the marathon sex sessions. Husband this morning said that he is delighted it is over. Delighted. Actual word used. Hmm

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 15:22

@babyG123 thanks I've downloaded the app it looks like it's going to be very helpful 🤞🏼

Marshmallow123 · 06/05/2020 15:27

@Juno231@MrsEmilyB thank you girls...it's good to know from real people how they've gone about using them! I've got the app downloaded and have read the instructions so I'm going to wait a few days (this is CD3) and then start.

MrsEmilyB · 06/05/2020 15:32

@vintagemoo - ooft, "delighted" is harsh as heck! 😂 Although pretty sure DH is going to feel exactly the same by the end of this week!

GemmaMay3291 · 06/05/2020 15:43

Finally managed to get positive OPKs 🙂. Looks like the big drop in BBT on CD 14 was actually a huge heads up.

Massive congratulations to all those have got BFP. Seen so many on this thread already 💕

Probably a stupid question but is it not good to have a bath around implantation or just not a super hot one?

Ltay2 · 06/05/2020 15:57

@BabyDust13 A warm bath is fine ☺️ if you have to brace yourself to get in and lie down in one go then it's too hot 😂

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 16:02

@Ltay2 thanks so much that's my plan sorted after work then

Ltay2 · 06/05/2020 16:08

@BabyDust13 I read that if your skin goes red/pink then that's also a sign that it's too hot for implantation/pregnancy ☺️ enjoy! It's the one thing that relaxes me during TWW haha.

Skyla01 · 06/05/2020 16:18

@GemmaMay3291 looks good! It's always nice to see a good positive opk.

@MrsEmilyB have you had a peak yet? Or do you think you might have missed it? There seems to be a lot of tricky opk interpretation at the moment!

MrsEmilyB · 06/05/2020 16:33

@SS123456 - I started seed cycling at the beginning of this cycle. Just switched to sesame and sunflower. If anyone can tell me how to make ground sesame taste good with a smoothie I'd be grateful 😂

@skyla01 - heck knows! I haven't had a peak this cycle (still testing!), but I had EWCM this morning and ovulation type pain from my left side today. I usually ovulate around CD18 (today) but it can be 4 days either way! I hope it's not another cycle like a few cycles ago when I ovulated CD37 for the first time EVER. I've attached my charts and my LH is going down and down 😩 any ideas?

@SS123456 I think that means I've been eating the wrong seeds at the wrong time 🤦‍♀️ so it's pumpkin pre-ovulation and sunflower afterwards? I've just been chomping on both all month 😂🤷‍♀️

Marshmallow123 · 06/05/2020 16:40

@MrsEmilyB @juno231 sorry for another question but you seem to be in the know! In the Femometer instructions it says to leave the urine and allow it to reach room temperature before testing.... Do you know how vital is this?! Just thinking if I'm trying to do it in a rush/at work that might be a bit awkward!

MrsEmilyB · 06/05/2020 16:46

@LV1987 here's an article about it 😊

MrsEmilyB · 06/05/2020 16:48

@Marshmallow123 - maybe that's where I'm going wrong this month 😂 I switched from easy at home strips to Femometer ones and haven't caught my peak! So, I'm not sure! I'd be interested to find out

Marshmallow123 · 06/05/2020 16:52

@MrsEmilyB I hope it's not too much of a big deal as I don't want to spend ages faffing around in a loo at work... colleagues will get worried!!

MrsEmilyB · 06/05/2020 16:57

@Marshmallow123 - can just see us all blowing on little cups of pee in the ladies, trying to get it to cool down 😂😂😂

Juno231 · 06/05/2020 16:57

@MrsEmilyB based on your latest ones I'd def say you're past the peak now! I think that morning you had a really high one was probably it. I might even have put OD down as that very day considering how early on in the day it was.

@marshmallow123 haha those instructions are for if you have refrigerated your sample first? So unless you're planning on storing your wee in the office kitchenette...

Marshmallow123 · 06/05/2020 17:02

@juno231 really?! Oh thank goodness!
It's not very clear...it says it needs to be 20-30 degrees which is obv much cooler than body temperature so I was panicking!

Ltay2 · 06/05/2020 17:02

@Marshmallow123 As @Juno231 said it means bring it UP to room temperature, as in if you refrigerated it if couldn't test right away, so body temp/warm wee is fine 😉

Marshmallow123 · 06/05/2020 17:06

@Ltay2 thank you!!
