@Juno231 your friends are horrendous 😱 I mean I joked above but anyone who knows me knows I’d be joking. I’d say some people who haven’t had the struggles of ttc don’t have that same appreciation, I mean how could they? I know loads of dads who take a backseat, my 2 kids are from my previous marriage and their dad and stepmum aren’t too hands on but he was when we were together. My husband now is v hands on with his son , thankfully! We just need one together now to join us all as one big family and to complete us 💕 xx

CoronaBaby · 06/05/2020 08:15

@Juno123 I think if you must wait for something or if something doesn’t come easily then you appreciate it much more. My DH is older than I am and from the day we met he made it quite clear that he wanted a family (whenever I was ready) and he is an excellent father, loves spending time at home with us.
@babyG123 I think I missed your story, or I just can’t remember, have you DC already? How many DPO are you? Some people just want the picture book family but don’t realise it doesn’t exist, kills me.

Skyla01 · 06/05/2020 08:19

Morning everyone! Completely understand the wanting to be part of the club feeling. And the I'm really happy for you but even more sad for myself & jealous and that emotion seems to dominate. Keep the faith ladies! We'll get there in the end.

Any new symptoms to report? Anyone testing soon? I'm approx 1 week post ovulation (+/- days).

Skyla01 · 06/05/2020 08:39

@Juno231 I can't believe your friends! How awful!

Newbie0818 · 06/05/2020 09:01

@Sausage1990 @OrangeJ @babyG123 @juno123 @mrsirvine totally get the jealousy. It’s really hard, even though I’m still quite young. Me and hubby always go places and think “we’ll bring our kids here one day” and are very much ready for family type fun. We’ve never been the party type. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s HARD. It’s a long story but my brother and sister are 4 and 2 now respectively, and they are very testing at times, but the happy moments far outweigh the stressful ones. I have friends that moan about their kids, and I just think god please I just want ONE at least! 👶🏽💔

@Franklydear good on you! I started out that way this cycle, and now it’s just gone on so long that I’ve turned into an obsessive freak again.

@skyla01 morning ☀️ Are you having any symptoms?

Well cd 50 today ladies and I am FED UP of it all. I’m frustrated because I can’t book my blood test until af arrives, and I don’t know if I caught a very late ovulation last week, so I’m stuck in a limbo. Keep trying to distract myself but I just can’t get my mind off it no matter what I do. I’m really angry at my body right now, and I know it sounds cliche but can’t help feeling defective. Ugh!

Hope everyone’s having a better day 🌸✨

RobinRose · 06/05/2020 09:08

@Skyla01 completely understand! When my friend told us she was pregnant last year I was happy for her but had this sudden wave of emotions, I just wanted to cry! I was like fuck. That’s someone else before me, again. Then my 2 friends proceeded to talk about pregnancy boobs amongst other things, I felt I couldn’t join in the conversation so left. I cried when I got home ☹️ We haven’t physically been able to try for long given the circumstances but mentally I’ve been waiting years for this, can only hope everything will go in our favour and work. Sorry for the long rant this morning!

SmileyT · 06/05/2020 09:12

@MrsEmilyB I have it in my head that it takes about 6 months to get pregnant with no fertility issues, saying it doesn't seem that long but all the waiting is shit.

@popcorndiva so funny your chart is the exact opposite of mine, you seem to have your plummet before AF starts and then it creeps up all month, hopefully it keeps creeping x

@Mrsirvine definitely wear your Fitbit everyday, I'm kinda obsessed with tracking sleep and have worn it everyday since July 2016 (various upgrades but all data is continuos) very interesting to look back on.

In regards to people being grateful I think it's important to remember that people love to whinge, if it's upsetting you I always think it's best to nip it in the bud. My best friend has an 18month that she loves dearly and whinges about him a lot but I know that it is because she is struggling right now and that's okay. I have no doubts that if I'm lucky enough to have children there will be days when I'll wonder how I'll cope but I think we are all only human ❤️

GingerBaby89 · 06/05/2020 09:17

@RobinRose bless you, that's really shit, so many cuddles being sent your way.

We've been trying for 4 cycles, but we decided in August 2019 so it feels like so much longer. I have a friend who is openly planning to start trying in August 2020 and I'm PETRIFIED that I won't be pregnant when she starts trying for fear that it'll turn into a race (a secret one with myself because she doesn't know we're TTC 🙄)

I've not tracked my RHR before your talk on it on MN so I just checked my Apple Watch- wow, it's a really accurate way of tracking ovulation!!! I Od on 1 May!!!

I can't keep I can't keep up with this post very well 😂😂.

My friend also just announced she was pregnant I cried to my husband instantly. It was just a complete rush of emotions. We have been trying for 4 months now but have been off the pill for a year. This was her first month of trying and managed to succeed what I hadn't yet. I felt broken for a little while however I am a massive believes in the fact that everything happens for a reason. Our time will come ladies. Baby dust to all of you ❤️❤️

BabyG123 · 06/05/2020 09:21

@CoronaBaby I'm the one who has been nauseous since 2dpo, heart burn, tired, boobs refilled from saggy post 9month of breast feeding boobs to normal boobs and only 12dpo now!

And still tracking with my ovulation sticks just Incase but think they're telling me something 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Another BFN for me at 11dpo this morning 😔. My luteal phase is usually only around 11-12 days so I guess I will know either way for sure by the weekend

Juno231 · 06/05/2020 09:30

@babyG123 omg test! That looks so promising!!

Franklydear · 06/05/2020 09:31

@Newbie0818, oh you know I can obsess properly... it’s only the believe that there is little to no chance this month...
To answer some questions:I am cd 16, I think 3-4 dpo, I already have a de 10, I didn’t struggle to conceive, in fact I took so long to realise, but very wanted, very appreciated and thankful of the extra together time, even if he drives me bonkers and doesn’t let me sleep, I don’t understand people, a relative told me when he was a few days old ‘ now you’re trap, you cannot undo this’ people are weird,
Anyway, posting to mark the place, as I can’t keep up with this thread, post the link to the new one when we get there

Franklydear · 06/05/2020 09:32

Ds 10, don’t know what de would be...

Franklydear · 06/05/2020 09:35

Forgot one, haven’t told a soul, and after all these years and many medical difficulties, nobody expect it anymore.... at 42 it really is our last chance

Ltay2 · 06/05/2020 09:43

What Fitbits do you all have? I've been interested in getting one for a while and this seems like the best excuse 🤣

Mrsirvine · 06/05/2020 09:49

@babyG123 poas!!!!!

I had the charge hr then I got the flex which I hated then last week I got the versa2 which is so pretty but defo has given me a nasty heat rash :( need tk buy a new strap I think. I’m not usually sensitive xx

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 09:57

@babyG123 I've got the first verse I love it 🥰

Mrsirvine · 06/05/2020 09:59

Dh has the first versa theyre v v similar but when I was buying there was £50 off the Versa 2 so worked out cheaper lol xx

BabyDust13 · 06/05/2020 10:02

@Mrsirvine nice I love a bargain

CoronaBaby · 06/05/2020 10:03

Omg @babyG123 I think it’s time to POAS. I am currently 5dpo and my boobs are aching but I’m not getting my hopes up!
@Mrsirvine @Ltay2 I have a versa2 and agree about the strap, on more than one occasion it has given me a nasty rash almost like a burn. I think it’s if the strap gets wet the friction causes it. Pity because I love the colour of it 😩

Ltay2 · 06/05/2020 10:10

I think I'll go for the Inspire HR, seems to do everything I need and is cheaper. The Versa ones do look nice though but not too bothered about the 'watch' style ☺️ might treat myself to that instead of buying gin 🤣

Skyla01 · 06/05/2020 10:11

@Newbie0818 no meaningful symptoms, bit too early for me anyway. I can understand why you are frustrated! Is this your longest cycle? At least it sounds like ovulation may have been last week- something happened at least! So AF or bfp next week for you? Hope you get an answer soon.

@RobinRose yeah I totally get it. Fc that will be us soon!

HopefulRobertsons66202 · 06/05/2020 10:39
