@GingerBaby89 - I've been told anything goes in the 2ww aside from overheating, lifting heavy weights and doing an abs blast session. So I usually skip clubbercise and HIIT during the 2ww but up pilates and Glowtone

Mrsirvine · 05/05/2020 12:38

Wtf girls? Does it take time for lh to drop ???

@Newbie0818 I got seven seas preconception last time, but this time I am just on pregnacare, theyre 3 for 2 in Tesco (if you’re from the uk) doctor said they were fine to keep taking and it saves swapping over xx

OrangeJ · 05/05/2020 12:47

@Mrsirvine last cycle was my first properly tracking and it took days for it to drop! I was hoping if it turned out to be a bfp maybe twins? 😂 (and yeah I went overboard with the opks. I was excited lol)

@Ltay2 thanks for that! They’ll be my next supplements! I would also love another girl so gonna try the supplement for dh too! Xxx

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 12:49

@Mrsirvine yeah the LH hormone is released and then it just takes a bit of time to get out of your system, guess it depends how much you flush your system out with water 🤔

I had my peak on Friday night and still showing high yesterday (attached a pic)

Mrsirvine · 05/05/2020 12:52

@orangej @SmileyT thanks for that! It’s saying high but it’s nowhere near positive so hopefully I have ovulated and on the way back down! Xxx

Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 13:11

@firsttimetry welcome! Hope you get your bfp soon.

@Demi24 sorry about BFN. We've been trying 12mon +. Never thought it would take this long but figure it will happen eventually just need to be patient. I was about to go to GP for tests before all of this.

@GingerBaby89 I still exercise as normal in tww, I just don't go mad with it.

BabyDust13 · 05/05/2020 13:12

@Mrsirvine I had trouble with that too couldn't tell if it was on the way up or back down 😂😂

Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 13:14

Anyone know if raging hunger with 1 week of ovulation is a sign...?! I am starving! I'm used to AF hunger but not had it in the TWW before! So glad I have a bread maker to make extra to snack on without having to go to the shop to buy more food.

Mrsirvine · 05/05/2020 13:16

@BabyDust13 you’d need a PHD to ttc lol xxx

BabyDust13 · 05/05/2020 13:25

@Skyla01 I've been super hungry today a bit grouchy and very sleepy but I'm only 5DPO so it's probably just my amazing personality shining through 😂😂

Newbie0818 · 05/05/2020 13:29

@Juno231 I was looking at that but from what I’ve read it can sometimes have negative affects on conception?

And re the opk, mine lasted two days so it takes time in some cases. Also thought it might be my bfp lol

vintagemoo · 05/05/2020 13:30

@GingerBaby89

Hahaha that is definitely the first time I've been tagged to a picture of a c*ck ring Shock

I hope it works out for you! If not at least it'll make you laugh!

Juno231 · 05/05/2020 13:33

@GingerBaby89 exercise during pregnancy doesn't require much modification at all other than avoiding falling on or damaging the bump. I say up your exercise now as it's not advised to start new regimes once pregnant. All my friends did stuff like weights, crossfit, running etc when pregnant - it's really important to keep fit and helps with both the birth and to get back on your feet afterwards!

If you don't know where to start then focus on core as that will take the biggest beating through pregnancy.

For reference I do the pretty strenuous les Mills classes like body attack and body combat and most of them are pregnancy friendly - and if they're not then it's usually due to balancing moves where they're worried you might fall over on to your bump.

vintagemoo · 05/05/2020 13:34

@GingerBaby89

Ooh and on the exercise I've basically stopped, but that's because I only enjoy lifting heaving and HIIT. I'm being super cautious as actually there's very little evidence to support the idea that exercise affects fertility or pregnancy.

vintagemoo · 05/05/2020 13:35

@Juno231 Love a bit of BodyAttack!

Juno231 · 05/05/2020 13:43

@vintagemoo bloody love body attack! I've had the same instructor for 5 years and I miss him during lockdown 😂. Just not the same trying to do it online.

I've managed to lose 2kg in the last two weeks btw and wanna carry on until I get a BFP but I'm so kicking myself that I didn't start this sooner as I don't enjoy the idea of looking like a blimp after pregnancy...

GingerBaby89 · 05/05/2020 13:45

@vintagemoo @MrsEmilyB @Juno231 see, this is what I don't understand!!! Conflicting advice about what to do with your core in the first trimester- go hard now to keep it in as best shape as possible for the second and third... or avoid crunching completely as it might affect implantation?! Heeeeeellllp!

I'm just doing pregnancy friendly mixed cardio, weekly run and dumbbells (between 3kg and 5kg per arm). Biggest thing I'm trying to look after is my back - I'm really lucky and have good posture and have never suffered with back pain so don't want pregnancy to be the start of that...

Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 13:51

@GingerBaby89 I don't think you have to modify your routine in the TWW. If you want to work on your core what about a plank work out? No crunching required for that.

I sometimes do tww yoga which basically tells you to do nothing but gentle yoga for 2 weeks. I enjoy the yoga but still do the other stuff I like too!

Juno231 · 05/05/2020 13:56

@GingerBaby89 there's lots you can do to improve core without doing crunches! My husband is ex army and he swears by balancing boards for core for example :)

Nicola1201 · 05/05/2020 14:07

Hoping this works now. Faint line, will retest on saturday which is when af is due. Staying all fingers crossed.

I have been using pregnacare both his and hers. And id been lax on exercise since lockdown and now feel guilty.

Newbie0818 · 05/05/2020 14:10

Right, got my Pregnacare his and hers now, just need af to hurry the heck up so I can get on with ttc next cycle!

Tempted to get a Fermometer. Any advice/ experiences?

Mrsirvine · 05/05/2020 14:22
