False negative?

I am a couple of days late for my period so I did a digital Clear Blue week indicator yesterday in the afternoon and it said 'not pregnant' I am just wondering if they are known for giving false negatives and if anyone has had this and gone on to find out they were pregnant?
It's not like me to be this late so I'm not convinced the test was accurate seeing as I tested so soon.
I am thinking it may be too early to pick up on the test yet.
Thanks x

If you ovulated late or implanted late, then yes, there is still a chance. You aren't out till you get your period. I'd test again in a day or 2.

I've tested too early in the past, but closer to 11DPO. I then tested again at 14DPO and got a positive. Best of luck.

Clear blue digital tests aren't the most sensitive ones. I'd get a First response early response one if you think the clear blue maybe wrong.

@Newmum26
Did you test positive in the end? I'm in a similar position you were in and am wondering how many days to leave it till to test. The NHS website says best to wait till 7 days after period was due
