Brown discharge lasting 5 days

Has anyone ever had this before? I am TTC, period is now late by 11 days but have had brown discharge now for the last 5 days. Does anyone know anything about this?

I had a random 1 day period on Monday, heavy and a few clots. Since then it's just been brown. My periods last about 5 days usually. We are TTC but tests are negative so wondering if its stress related??? Have you taken any tests?

Maybe you are right maybe it is stress related! Yes took a test on wednesday and it came back negative!
