@Laurend0603 sorry! Call them within the next few weeks to get your booking appointment date which is usually at 10 weeks pregnant 🙈 I made no sense

@Laurend0603 nooo they won't give you a prescription for it! You can buy it in the shops :) the only time they will give you a prescription is if you need high strength because you are high risk of having a baby with neural tub defects however I'm not sure how common that practice is. My partner has a cleft and a family history of clefts and they won't even give me high strength for that. I take 3 folic acid tablets a day and have been for the last 12 months (however don't recommend it, I just read it on a cleft site!)

@Laurend0603 Congratulations that's definitely a positive!! 💜 I dont know if it's all changed but when I was pregnant I called my doctor who forwarded me onto the midwifes in my doctors surgery, they got in touch with me I cant remember how far along I was just had a talk really, done bloods felt my tummy etc & then I got my 12 week scan through the post from hospital. Everyone is still getting there 12 week & 20 week scans (I'm sure) so I would advice getting in touch with midwife asap cause can imagine being a bit of a slow process at the moment. No point going to doctor they dont do anything through your pregnancy it's your midwife, they would only take another pregnancy test.

Wishing u a healthy 9 months 💜
