Hi everyone I am 38 and have been ttc baby no 2 for 11 months now. Last month I had been dtd regularly and particularly dtd four days in a row when I saw ewcm. But af has arrived so I am now ttc again. I thought dtd on ewcm days I would end up with a bfp

There's never any guarantees when TTC unfortunately Sad

Do you do anything else to predict ovulation? I'd recommend as a minimum popping your cycle data into a tracker app (fertility friend is well recommended). You can put various bits of data into there and it gives you a really good idea of when your fertile days are likely to be.

If you use ovulation strips then there is an app called Premom that can read them for you to tell you when they're positive.

You can also take your BBT and that will give you even more information about when/if you're ovulating.

You can also approach a doctor if you'd like to get checked out and see if there is anything more going on.

Good luck! Grin

Oh OP I'm sorry it is so so hard. It took us a year to conceive the first time and then another 3 years to get pregnant again after that. No rhyme or reason just tough luck on our part. I know that doesn't help.

Good luck to you and try (although I know it's so hard) not to put to much pressure on yourself/each other Thanks

You're welcome. I just wanted to add that I do also agree with @ILavaYou

Try your best not to put too much pressure on either your or your partner. You could even aim to DTD every other day and forgo ovulation testing/prediction completely. Or even plan for every other day but add an extra one in on the day of ovulation just to try and make sure you've got all your bases covered Smile.

Hopefully, we'll hear an update from you soon with your BFP Grin

Same here, due on this weekend. We've tried everything, everyday, every other day. It's disheartening isn't it, been trying for 3 years. Just try and stay hopeful even though it's hard too sometimes
