Positive test but bleeding

Hi all,

I got 2 positive pregnancy tests. It's the Week after period was due but I experienced bleeding today when wiping. None on pad but lots on tissue. Anyone any experience with this? Thinking the worse.

What colour is the blood @JMC04 ?

Bright red, then brownish

Try not to worry. Do you have any pain at all? When I miscarried I had a lot of cramping and the blood was heavier than you described. My friend had bleeding in early pregnancy and it turned out to be fine (twins in fact!) so you really cant tell. I hope everything works out for you.

You can bleed in early pregnancy and it can be nothing to worry about. If it's now brown, it's probably old blood. Keep an eye on it but if it turns red and heavier, could you get checked out at your local EPU?

@Jemma2907 @Rebs1994 ye I'm trying to stay positive but I also know the statistics so just keeping my fingers crossed. Rang doc today and she said because It's still very early not much to do but just wait and see.

Those early weeks are such a worrying time. Just try and get some rest and remember, it's not always bad news x
