11 days late but clearblue says negative - anyone else had this ?

...just that really and apologies for TMI below.
Used a clearblue (not digital) with second wee of the day, no second line came up.
Period is 11 days late, I’m usually on a 29/30 days cycle - have been late once in the past year but only about 4 days.
I got tender boobs, had lots of wetness discharge around the time I should have had my period (seems to have finished now), lots of cramps to the left - but they seem to feel in more sort of belly area (about 7-8cm unsee belly button) rather than much lower/uterus.
We weren’t actively trying but not avoiding it either (plan to start trying in the near future anyway), DTD I think a bit earlier (couple of days) than what I would consider to be ovulating day (but never calculated properly or took temp so don’t know for sure) however we used withdrawal method - before I get slaughtered, we’d be delighted if I was pregnant, so as I said, we weren’t that bothered about avoiding it.

@gonads0 I was on the pill for forever. I've been off it almost 2 years though and in that time I've been the same. Even from ther first month! My cycle isn't perfect and I went to the dr about it last year. I wonder if I have low progesterone still. But it's still always been consistent! Even if consistently not ideal. 😂 No matter what vits etc I've taken, its never altered either. But I have read it can happen randomly so maybe it just has, and it won't even happen again? I do want to go back to my dr as TTC isn't successful but we need this virus thing to blow over!

Yesterday I had slight pink spotting AM and brown PM, but it really was very slight. Also slight back ache. Nothing since. Just CM. Boobs still tender. Temp this morning is back to 36.68 which is confusing. So I've no idea if yesterday's was wrong? But because of that- fertility friend has now decided I ovulated day 20 and not 17. We did have unprotected sex on day 21 so being pregnant would technically now be possible. Luteal phase is never usually more than 15 days though and I'm on day 39 now. So even if it was day 20, AF should be here. I wonder if maybe it was even later still. By my reckoning if its coming it should be here by next Tuesday. After that I'm clueless. I've decided to OPK daily in case I've randomly missed a period and will just go on to ovulate. Negative so far.

I've had similar this month too.
My cycles aren't regular at the best of times and have gone between 28days and 36 before but normally they're on the shorter end of the range.
This month I was 10days late for AF (based in previous months). I felt exhausted, headaches, really sore boobs, not hungry, occasional nausea and constant cramps like period pain but more in the middle of my uterus. Hadn't considered pregnancy as only managed to DTD successfully once this cycle.
Had a complete wobble one evening and grabbed a non-digital clear blue test and took it and got a BFN.
It was another 5 days of being late when i took another one on a morning wee and again got what I thought was a super faint line, but could have just been evap.
AF turned up 11 days later than expected. Was very light on day 1, heavy for 2 and then nothing, sorry TMI!
I'm putting it down to stress of being on furlough and feeling all out of sorts. Will try again this cycle I guess!

Hi ladies - so I was due on 28th April, had two faint positives and then a negative on a digital. AF has finally arrived today, 4 days late. I'm never late, always 28 days like clockwork.

I know this isn't as late as many of you but just wanted to share. I know how frustrating this is!

Thanks for your replies. Funny how its affected so many of us! I just want it to hurry up!

Sorry been absolutely swamped at the hospital working.

So I have some updates, still the same symptoms but I started bleeding very lightly and now I believe my AF has finally arrived.

So I was right in the fact I did ovulate and now my AF is here, I ended up having a 46 day cycle. Not once since starting have I ever been this late, or nearly missing a period it's very random what's happened. Maybe it's just a one off, but we will have to see. Going to keep an eye on it and see what happens, as I said I'm usually so regular it's so easy to track etc and so much more helpful while we are TTC but for now, it's a waiting game. We will keep trying of course, but if his keeps happening I'm going to inform my doctor because it will definitely affect our chances, so I need to know how to deal with it properly and what to expect.

Any progress with yourself?

@gonads0 didn't realise you worked at a hospital. Must be manic right now? I'm working from home which is why I can't see why I should be stressed. Lol. But?

Had nothing all day yesterday. Felt a bit ropey in the afternoon (keep getting headaches). Then felt better after eating. Discharge clear all day until about 10pm when I had pink and slight cramping. Thought maybe AF was coming. Nothing by 11pm. Thought maybe AF would come overnight. Nope.

So maybe its going to drag on for a bit yet. 🙄

Sorry your AF came. Although at least you can carry on, if it is that? I reckon it'll be a one off, but yes a dr visit needed if it happens again.

@paintfairy yes I do indeed, it is to be honest! But I love my job and wouldn't have it any other way.

Oh really, yeah you may just be waiting a little bit longer then I suppose? Good luck with it though hopefully it doesn't keep you hanging too much.

And yeah, I mean it's disappointing in a way but once I got the negative I didn't get my hopes up for anything else to be honest and just sort of looked forward to getting AF, and continuing to try. Me and the OH agreed to not let it get us down and not too stress too much about things, just let it happen when it happens: I mean like I said we don't probably utilise every opportunity with him being in the army and stuff as well but we will get there!

And definitely, hopefully it is just the one off though. Sick of the sight of doctors as it is 🤣

@gonads0 Still waiting! Thought it was coming last night. Had spotting. Then nothing. This morning I got cramps at 5am. Not really bad but definitely those type of cramps. Had a bit of red bleeding. Thought AF was starting (only usually get cramps when it's happening, not before). By the time I got up later- nothing. Feel like its imminent. But flipping heck.

My DH I think is quite anxious about having a baby. We are older. So he certainly doesn't stress about it not happening. He's agreed to it but it is a big thing. I'm a stressy person but I've accepted its not happening easily. And I know it might not happen. I'm not deluded and pinning my hopes on it either. It would just be nice to move on!

Hi girls please can I join? I'm 6 days late and Clear blue digital I did yesterday said Not pregnant. So I have no idea what's going on! My cycles aren't usually this long I'm on day 42 now. We haven't been 'actively trying' or being careful either, it took us over a year to conceive with DS who will be 3 at the weekend.
I've heard CB digital a are not as sensitive as others? So I've ordered some first response off Amazon and they come tomorrow x

Its like waiting for Christmas. 😂 Day 42 for me too. Keep spotting but nothing else. I told myself it'll be here by Wednesday! 🤞

@newmum26 i was the exact same, to be honest with you negative tests and a 46 day cycle, no reason as to why. No major changes, not stressed nothing, and we are actively TTC, so that would in my eyes be the only reason as to why.

But I took a test a week after my AF was due absolutely nothing, got many symptoms to suggest early pregnancy, but I couldn't confirm that so I had to just wait. 20 days later still nothing still all the same symptoms, and then I started spotting brown and tiny bit of red.

Then I started bleeding very lightly Thursday and it's been off and on since, I usually have a similar experience with my period, including them being regular... but this time I don't know what's going on, I'm usually medium flow, but I'm light and i bleed for a day or throughout a day and then it stops for 12 hours maybe longer and it's back? Most bizarre experience I've had with a period. I just don't even know where to look for answers if I'm honest.

@gonads0 so AF never arrived properly? Fertility friend has now decided it doesn't know what is going on and changed its mind about when I ovulated. It has no clue. I'm wondering if maybe I didn't and so maybe not enough hormones to initiate AF?
I felt gassy and queasy last night. Gassy again today. Headache (but had no sleep). Couldn't take a temp reading. Brown spotting this morning.

AF arrived today 😩 Not been that late before so know idea what that was all about x

@paintfairy what I believed my AF, hasn't been like any other cycle before. It's inconsistent, it's changing so quickly and stopping, I don't know what is going on to be honest. It's just so annoying and really making me confused. Hopefully it begins properly and I can continue

@gonads0 I think mine is here today. Had cramps at 5am and then bleeding. Although it's not like full on and the cramps went, which is weird. But watch this space.

I did have AF. But I'm on CD11 now with no signs of a of positive OPK. Which usually I ovulate today! So it looks like this month may well be as ridiculous? I don't understand.

@paintfairy where do I even start. So what I thought was AF, wasn't exactly a normal AF. But I believe it was, it was just light and a very irregular bleed. I spoke to my GP and he for sure believes it was just different to my usual. Which again leaves me very confused.

Everything else has been normal, and I was due to ovulate Tuesday'ish I tested and I did. So we are back to square one, we've continued to TTC so it's just a waiting game to see whether or not we've been luck this month, and IF not then hopefully I won't be late like last time but only time will tell.

Aw hopefully not, we don't need this. Fingers crossed for you, I hope things are much more normal this month!!

I so relate to all of you here.. This is the first month we are trying to conceive (and my first post here!) I am never late and this time I am already 8 days late. Early pregnancy tests were negative sad (2 days before expected date, 3 days after expected date) I have no other symptoms (nausea, sore breasts). Means I am def not pregnant, right? Also, can anyone get pregnant in their first month of trying? I am 32
