Potential Polyp in Womb and TTC

Sorry for the TMI, this is my first post on here.
For the past 6 months I've had irregular bleeding which has been quite bad. I've had tests done at my GP, been on tablets to stop periods, 4 different antibiotics and have been referred for scans. Transvaginal ultrasound showed my ovaries weren't polycystic and were healthy but my womb lining was at 16mm so they suspect there may be a polyp in there and I'm now awaiting a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. I've been told in the meantime it's a good idea to TTC.
My husband and I now want to start TTC within the next month or two however, when we try, I bleed each time so it's not great. GP has recommended Tranexamic Acid to stop this which hasnt worked very well so far either.
Has anyone else been in this situation and found that this got better when they fell pregnant?
Thanks in advance 😊
