Hi,

I wondered if anyone would be able to answer to questions regarding the AVA bracelet and how it works, iv ordered one and my cycles are a bit longer than the recommended cycle length but wondered if this will effect it being able to pin point ovulation for me?

I have the Ava bracelet and PCOS. It's absolutely not recommended for PCOS or irregular cycles however I use it as I never took BBT properly.

When it gives me my temp I stick it in FF and that has worked out ovulation. Ava doesn't seem to work it out. Waiting to see if it will amend ovulation tomorrow (FF changes it to confirm OV 3 days ago which is correct).

It's worth getting to track though!

@ApplePie86 heyy thanks for replying... yeah i have Natural cycles that i pay for at the min and bbt with that but with being off work my temps are going all over the place waking up diff time so im looking forward to using it for that reason.
My cycles are either 35 or 38 days long so will it not calculate ovulation for me, will i need to just put the temps into my app

What else would you say its useful for! Im still waiting for the postman to make a delivery hopefully before my fertile window so i can start tracking 🙏 x

I didnt find it very useful for pinpointing ovulation in a useful way(although I like a the data etc) I trust OPKs more and it often didnt align and certainly not in a way that meant you knew which days were your most fertile at the time... It doesn't "confirm" ovulation until you are several days past ovulation so it can see how your temperature changes.... which is a bit late!

@Hayleylou89 I'm not sure it's useful for anything else although it does track other things which do form a pattern (pulse, breathing rate, hours sleep etc).

I think 35 days is the max it says it works properly with. Maybe look at taking something to try and shorten cycle?
