Evap or positive?

Hi guys, took a FRER test and can see a line but I’m terrified that it’s an evap line. Took a lot of pics but this is the only one where the camera picked it up. I’m 9DPO. Thanks guys 🙏🏼

I definitely see something there. Does it have any colour to it? I’d say test again in 48hrs 🤞🏻 I tried at 9dpo on an IC and swore I saw something, but DH couldn’t. Did another at 10dpo and then an FRER at 11dpo and got BFP.

Hi Stacey I'm in the same boat as you I'm not sure if this is an evap line or a positive this is a Sainsbury's test but I've read so many bad reviews took another test this morning and it seems to be negative period isn't due for another 7 days and I'm 9 days past ovulation fingers crossed yours is a positive what do you think about mine?

I can see a line there, how long did you leave it before line appeared?It doesn’t look like an evap line as they’re usually wiggly.
I’ve probably done 100’s of tests over the years and I’ve only had a positive at 10dpo, test again tomorrow maybe?

I did leave it quite a while before checking again I've done another test this morning and it's negative :( only time will tell I suppose but I'm so inpatient

I wasn’t timing it but it was around 3-5 mins maybe. It did have colour to it too. Think I’m just going to have to try and be patient and hope AF doesn’t show. Will try and leave it til Wednesday when I’m due to do another one as I have no more FRER tests 😭 thanks for the advice guys x

My fingers are crossed for you too it's horrible the waiting to see if af comes or not but I hope not.for both us both. The other one is the one i.yook this morning I.domt no if I'm seeing things or if that's a faint positive too x

@Lauloo123 I think I see something but it could be my line eyes! Do you maybe have another brand you could try? I’d love to take another brand but don’t think there’s any as sensitive as the first response that I could get from Asda/Sainsbury’s so I’ve ordered some more and I’m going to test again Wednesday! If you’re using a normal Sainsbury’s one I’d try and get another brand X

I can deffo see it, fingers crossed for you OP! Mine started out like that on 9DPO AM and by PM it was a lot more obvious. I used FRER too and really rate them. Keep testing on a long urine hold if you can! Keep us updated xx

@ALJ1210 thank you ☺️ I’ve ordered some on prime to come tomorrow and was thinking ugh they’ll come in the day I’ll have to wait til Wednesday but then I thought, I can just keep my first morning wee and use it when it comes! Trying to not get too excited but it’s hard xx

Update: cracked and asked my husband to go and get a first response from boots (didn’t even know they did them!) so currently holding urine 🙄 has anyone seen a significant difference between fm and later when holding? I just feel like I need to see something more solid. There’ll be like a 8 hour difference between the tests. I’m so impatient 😭

Done another test with a different brand and it's a big NEGATIVE all though I've peed quite alot today and it's afternoon so that could be why if I'm too early trying not to loose hope :/ Stacey fingers crossed for your positive I hope you get it update us all 🙄

@Lauloo123 mine this afternoon came back negative too 😞 my husbands saying try again in the morning but I feel so deflated. Understand exactly how you feel x

Update: tested with fmu and it’s a clear negative, wondering if maybe the amazon ones aren’t genuine or something because both from boots were clear negatives..thanks for everyone’s help and advice 💕

Tested at 4am as I keep waking up randomly feeling quite groggy today too it's a fan positive ive had to take it to pieces see it :/ but its defiantly there. My periods are always on the 6th of every month so how long is my cycle I think flo as calculated it wrong it's saying the 4th :/ xxx

I'm no good with this trying for a baby :/ I think I'll just let nature take its course because I'm driving myself mad lol

@Lauloo123 I know the feeling 😞 been a long time trying for me and I have good months and bad months but this time I bawled my eyes out! Really thought that doing OPKs and realising I was ovulating later than what Ovia said would maybe result in a positive this month but it doesn’t seem likely now. It’s exhausting.

But if you’re getting faint positives that’s a good thing, try and wait a few days, I know it’s easier said than done though x

Hi again ladies, just looking for a bit of advice, would you class this month as a write off yet with my negative this morning? Ovia is predicting my period to come today as per my previously tracked data going back a long time but Premom, which I’ve only started using this month, is saying Saturday, I’m guessing calculating from my peak ovulation. I don’t know if because my peak was later if my period would then be pushed back? Hard to say since it’s my first month doing opks. My cycles are typically anything between 25 and 28 days 🤷🏻‍♀️ My husband’s saying let’s have some wine tonight and we’ll start afresh next month but part of me is thinking is there still a chance? Not sure if I’m just clutching at straws...I’m 10dpo as of today.

I'd say not a write off until af arrives. I had similar cycles and found opks helpful as they showed I ovulated later than typical, so it takes a few days more to see a line with a test, even with frer. Although, I can't see how a glass of wine will hurt, if you feel the need. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I didn't get a positive with frer until my period was due, but with variable cycle lengths, work to the longest time frame.

Op, have a glass of wine and don't write the month off just yet.. using your chart my very faint hardly there positive didn't show until 29th.

Awwwww it's really frustrating and stressful for us all in keeping my fingers crossed for you @StaceyWS88 I'm so emotional at minute and snappy my partner is too laid back and just keeps telling me to stop being impatient easier said than done for me :/ I do.have itchy nips (sorry of that's too much info) and they do feel heavier and achy but I don't no if it's just all on my head I'm doing a clear blue early detection soon so I'll post an update I'm not due on for another 7 days so I'm not sure it'd show but I've had 3 very faint positives now and a couple of negatives so my heads abit messed up :( how you feeling @StaceyWS88
