Please help I'm going insane!!

Hi, i think I'm going mad does anyone have any experience of the cheapy pg tests from ebay? I'm asking because I think I might have just got a faint positive on one but I think it's impossible!

Ok let me explain (ramble) I had my mirena coil removed last friday morning, by the evening I had ewcm and on sat too, I also had what I think was a poitive ov test on sat so I'm thinking I might have ov'd last wk end?

But even if I did (and I know it could take months after the mirena) surely I couldn't test positive already?

Arghhhhhh I'm going insane plus I've just tested on a boots own test and got a bfn so any ideas? Has anyone had a false positive with a cheapy?

BTW I know I should just test again in a few days and I will but in the mean time I can't stop thinking about it

you cannot get a false positive

it could well have been an evaporation line

have a look at www.peeonastick.com

and wait another week or so, so it will be two weeks post ovulation and you are more likely to gt an accurate result

also, you should use the first wee of the day as the HCG is more concentrated

The cheap tests I got from ebay are early tests (measure from 10miu) so some people show up the day after conception apparently. If you've got some early tests that can pick up from small hormone level then yes, it could show positive this early and the other tests would still show as negative.

Afraid it looks like you'll have to wait a little longer and then test again.

Yes I know your both right and I just have to wait now, but it's soooo hard lol!

I tested again this morning and got bfn with a clearblue digital but I did get another really really faint line on a cheapy- loonytune yes they are the 10miu ones,but even so I'm sure I can't be testing positive this early on!

Anyway thank you once again and I will try and stay away from the evil pee sticks for a while xxxxx

Don't bother doing the expensive tests until you're due!

And those tests do say they can pick up hormones VERY early on so fingers crossed it IS a BFP!
